(ई) उस चन्द्रविमान को उत्तर की ओर से चार हजार अश्वरूपधारी देव उठाते हैं। वे अश्व इन विशेषणों वाले हैं-वे श्वेत हैं, सुन्दर हैं, सुप्रभावाले हैं, उत्तम जाति के हैं, पूर्ण बल और वेग प्रकट होने की (तरुण) वय वाले हैं, हरिमेलकवृक्ष की कोमल कली के समान धवल प्रांख वाले हैं, वे अयोधन की तरह दृढीकृत, सुबद्ध, लक्षणोन्नत कुटिल (बांकी) ललित उछलती चंचल और चपल चाल वाले है, लांघना, उछलना, दौड़ना, स्वामी को धारण किये रखना त्रिपदी (लगाम) के चलाने के अनुसार चलना, इन सब बातों की शिक्षा के अनुसार ही वे गति करने वाले हैं। हिलते हए रमणीय आभूषण उनके गले में धारण किये हुए हैं, उनके पार्श्वभाग सम्यक् प्रकार से झुके हुए हैं, संगतप्रमाणापेत हैं, सुन्दर हैं, यथोचित मात्रा में मोटे और रति पैदा करने वाले हैं, मछली और पक्षी के समान उनकी कुक्षि है, पोन-पीवर और गोल सुन्दर प्राकार वाली उनकी कटि है, दोनों कपोलों के बाल ऊपर से नीचे तक अच्छी तरह से लटकते हुए हैं, लक्षण और प्रमाण से युक्त हैं, प्रशस्त हैं, रमणीय हैं। उनकी रोमराशि पतली, सूक्ष्म, सुजात और स्निग्ध है। उनकी गर्दन के बाल मृदु, विशद, प्रशस्त, सूक्ष्म और सुलक्षणोपेत हैं और सुलझे हुए हैं / सुन्दर और विलासपूर्ण गति से हिलते हुए दर्पणाकार स्थासक-प्राभूषणों से उनके ललाट भूषित हैं, मुखमण्डप, अवचूल, चमर-स्थासक आदि प्राभूषणों से उनकी कटि परिमंडित है, तपनीय स्वर्ण के उनके खुर हैं, तपनीय स्वर्ण की जिह्ना है, तपनीय स्वर्ण के तालु हैं, तपनीय स्वर्ण के जोतों से वे भलीभांति जुते हुए हैं। वे इच्छापूर्वक गमन करने वाले हैं, प्रीतिपूर्वक चलने वाले हैं, मन को लुभावने लगते हैं, मनोहर हैं / वे अपरिमित गति वाले हैं, अपरिमित बल-वीर्य-पुरुषाकार-पराक्रम वाले हैं। वे जोरदार हिनहिनाने की मधुर और मनोहर ध्वनि से आकाश को गुजाते हुए, दिशाओं को शोभित करते हुए चन्द्रविमान को उत्तरदिशा की ओर से उठाते हैं।' 1. चन्द्रादि विमानानि जमतः स्वभावात निरालम्बानि, तथापि कियन्तो विनोदिनोऽनेकरूपधराः अभियोगिकादेवा: सततवहनशीलेषु विमानेषु अधः स्थित्वा परिवहन्ति कौतहलादिति / -बत्ति
