(ई) देवदोवे बोवे दो देवा महिडिया देवभव-देवमहाभवा एस्थ० / देवोदे समुद्दे देववर-देवमहावरा एस्थ० जाव सयंभूरमाणे दोवे सयंभूरमणभव-सयंभूरमणमहाभवा एस्थ दो देवा महिडिया। सयंभूरमणं णं दीवं सयंभूरमणोदे णामं समुद्दे वट्टे वलयागारसंठाणसंठिए जाव असंखेज्जाई जोयणसयसहस्साइं परिक्खेवेणं जाव अट्ठो? गोयमा ! सयंभूरमणोदए उदए अच्छे पत्थे जच्चे तणुए फलिहवण्णाभे पगईए उपगरसेणं पण्णत्ते / सयंभूरमणवर-सयंभूरमगमहावरा एत्थ दो देवा महिटिया सेसं तहेव असंखजानो तारागणकोडिकोडीओ सो सु वा। 185. (ई) देवद्वीप नामक द्वीप में दो महद्धिक देव रहते हैं-देवभव और देवमहाभव / देवोदसमुद्र में दो महद्धिक देव हैं-देववर और देवमहावर यावत् स्वयंभूरमणद्वोप में दो महद्धिक देव रहते हैं- स्वयंभूरमणभव और स्वयंभूरमणमहाभव / __ स्वयंभूरमणद्वीप को सब ओर से घेरे हुए स्वयंभूरमणसमुद्र अवस्थित है, जो गोल है और वलयाकार रहा हुअा है यावत् असंख्यात लाख योजन उसकी परिधि है यावत् वह स्वयंभूरमणसमुद्र क्यों कहा जाता है ? __ गौतम ! स्वयंभूरमणसमुद्र का पानी स्वच्छ है, पथ्य है, जात्य-निर्भल है, हल्का है, स्फटिकमणि की कान्ति जैसा है और स्वाभाविक जल के रस से परिपूर्ण है। यहां स्वयंभूरमणवर और स्वयंभूरमणमहावर नाम के दो महद्धिक देव रहते हैं / शेष कथन पूर्ववत् कहना चाहिए। यहां असंख्यात कोडाकोडी तारागण शोभित होते थे, होते हैं और होंगे। विवेचन-द्वीप-समुद्रों का क्रम सम्बन्धी वर्णन इस प्रकार है-पहला द्वीप जम्बूद्वीप है। इसको घेरे हुए लवणसमुद्र है / लवणसमुद्र को घेरे हुए धातकीखण्ड है / धातकीखण्ड को घेरे हुए कालोदसमुद्र है / कालोदसमुद्र को सब ओर से घेरे पुष्करवरद्वीप है। पुष्करवरद्वीप को घेरे हुए वरुणसमुद्र है। वरुणसमुद्र को घेरे हुए क्षीरवरद्वीप है / क्षीरवरद्वीप को घेरे हुए घृतोदसमुद्र है। घृतोदसमुद्र को घेरे हए क्षोदवरद्वीप है। क्षोदवरद्वीप को घेरे हुए क्षोदोदकसमुद्र है। क्षोदोदकसमुद्र को घेरे हुए नंदीश्वरद्वीप है / नंदीश्वरद्वीप के बाद नंदीश्वरोदसमुद्र हैं / उसको घेरे हुए अरण नामक द्वीप है, फिर अरुणोदसमुद्र है, फिर अरुणवरद्वीप, अरुणवरोदसमुद्र, अरुण वराभासद्वीप और अरुणवरावभाससमुद्र है / इस प्रकार अरुणद्वीप से त्रिप्रत्यवतार हुआ है। इन द्वीप समुद्रों के बाद जो शंख, ध्वज, कलश, श्रीवत्स आदि शुभ नाम हैं, उन नाम वाले द्वीप और समुद्र हैं / ये सब त्रिप्रत्यवतार वाले हैं / अपान्तराल में भुजगवर कुशवर और क्रौंचवर हैं तथा जितने भी हार-अर्धहार आदि शुभ नाम वाले आभरणों के नाम हैं, अजिन आदि जितने भी वस्तु-नाम हैं, कोष्ठ आदि जितने भी गंधद्रव्यों के नाम हैं, जलरुह, चन्द्रोद्योत आदि जितने भी कमल के नाम हैं, तिलक प्रादि जितने भी वृक्ष-नाम हैं, पृथ्वी, शर्करा-बालुका, उप्पल, शिला आदि जितने भी 36 प्रकार के पृथ्वी के नाम हैं, नौ निधियों और चौदह रत्नों के, चुल्ल हिमवान् आदि वर्षधर पर्वतों के, पद्म महापद्म आदि हृदों के, गंगा-सिंधु आदि महानदियों के, अन्तरनदियों के, 32 कच्छादि विजयों के, माल्यवन्त आदि वक्षस्कार पर्वतों के, सौधर्म आदि 12 जाति के कल्पों के, शक्र आदि दस इन्द्रों के, देवकुरु-उत्तरकुरु के, सुमेरुपर्वत के, शक्रादि सम्बन्धी आवास पर्वतों के, मेरुप्रत्यासन्न भवनपति आदि
