(अ) कहि णं भंते ! देवहीवगाणं चंदाणं चंददीवा णामं दीवा पण्णत्ता ? गोयमा ! देवदीवस्स पुरथिमिल्लाओ वेइयंताओ देवोदं समुदं बारस जोयणसहस्साई ओगाहित्ता तेणेव कमेण जाव रायहाणीओ सगाणं दीवाणं पुरस्थिमेणं देवद्दीवं समुदं असंखेज्जाइं जोयणसहस्साइं ओगाहिता एत्थ णं देववीययाणं चंदाणं चंदाओ णामं रायहाणीओ पण्णत्तायो। सेसं तं चेव / देवदीवा चंदादीवा एवं सूराणं वि / णवरं पच्चस्थिमिल्लाओ वेदियंताओ पच्चस्थिमेण च भाणियब्वा, तम्मि चेव समुद्दे / ___ कहि णं भंते ! देवसमुद्दगाणं चंदाणं चंददीवा णाम दीवा पणत्ता ? गोयमा ! देवोदगास समुद्दगस्स पुरथिमिल्लानो वेदियंतानो देवोदगं समुदं पच्चस्थिमेणं बारस जोयणसहस्साई तेणेव कमेणं जाव रायहाणीओ सगाणं दीवाणं पच्चत्थिमेणं देवोदगं समुह असंखेजाइं जोयणसहस्साइं ओगाहित्ता एत्थ णं देवोदगाणं चंदाणं चंदाओ णामं रायहाणीनो पण्णत्तायो। तं चेव सवं / एवं सूराणवि / णवरि देवोदगस्स पच्चथिमिल्लाओ वेदियंताओ देवोदगसमुदं पुरस्थिमेणं बारस जोयणसहस्साई प्रोगाहित्ता रायहाणीओ सगाणं सगाणं दीवाणं पुरथिमेणं देवोदगं समुद्दे असंखेज्जाइं जोयणसहस्साई ओगाहिता / एवं णागे जक्खे भूएवि चउण्हं दीव-समुद्दाणं / 167. (अ) हे भगवन् ! देवद्वीपगत चन्द्रों के चन्द्रद्वीप नामक द्वीप कहां हैं ? गौतम ! देवद्वीप की पूर्व दिशा के वेदिकान्त से देवोदसमुद्र में बारह हजार योजन आगे जाने पर वहां देवद्वीप चन्द्रों के चन्द्रद्वीप हैं, इत्यादि पूर्ववत राजधानी पर्यन्त कहना चाहिए। अपने ही चन्द्रद्रीयों की पश्चिमदिशा में उसी देवद्वीप में असंख्यात हजार योजन जाने पर वहां देवद्वीप के चन्द्रों की चन्द्रा नामक राजधानियां हैं। शेष वर्णन विजया राजधानीवत् कहना चाहिए। हे भगवन् ! देवद्वीप के सूर्यों के सूर्यद्वीप नामक द्वीप कहां हैं ? गौतम ! देवद्वीप के पश्चिमी वेदिकान्त से देवोदसमुद्र में बारह हजार योजन जाने पर देवद्वीप के सूर्यों के सूर्यद्वीप हैं। अपने-अपने ही सूर्यद्वीपों की पूर्व दिशा में उसी देवद्वीप में असंख्यात हजार योजन जाने पर उनकी राजधानियां हैं। हे भगवन् ! देवसमुद्रगत चन्द्रों के चन्द्रद्वीप नामक द्वीप कहां हैं ? गौतम ! देवोदकसमुद्र के पूर्वी वेदिकान्त से देवोदकसमुद्र में पश्चिमदिशा में बारह हजार योजन जाने पर यहां देवसमुद्रगत चन्द्रों के चन्द्रद्वीप हैं, आदि क्रम से राजधानी पर्यन्त कहना चाहिए। उनकी राजधानियां अपने-अपने
