442] [जीवानीवाभिगमसूत्र 4. यशोधरा-इसके कारण ही जम्बूद्वीप का यश त्रिभुवन में व्याप्त है अतएव इसे यशोधरा कहना उचित ही है। 5. विदेहजम्बू-विदेह के अर्न्तगत जम्बूद्वीप के उत्तरकुरुक्षेत्र में होने के कारण विदेह 6. सौमनस्या-मन की प्रसन्नता का कारण होने से सौमनस्या है / 7. नियता-सर्वकाल अवस्थित होने से नियता है / 8. नित्यमंडिता-सदा भूषणों से भूषित होने से नित्यमंडिता है / 9. सुभद्रा--सदा काल कल्याण-भागिनी है। इसका अधिष्ठाता महद्धिक देव होने से यह कदापि उपद्रवग्रस्त नहीं होती। 10. विशाला--पाठ योजनप्रमाण विशाल होने से यह विशाला-विस्तृता कही जाती है। 11. सुजाता- विशुद्ध मणि, कनक, रत्न आदि से निर्मित होने से यह सुजाता है-जन्मदोष रहिता है। 12. सुमना-- जिसके कारण से मन शोभन-अच्छा होता है वह सुमना है / वत्तिकार के अनुसार इन नामों का क्रम इस प्रकार है-१. सुदर्शना, 2. अमोघा, 3. सुप्रबुद्धा, 4. यशोधरा, 5. सुभद्रा, 6. विशाला, 7. सुजाता, 8. सुमना, 9. विदेहजम्बू, 10. सौमनस्या, 11. नियता, 12. नित्यमंडिता। जम्बूद्वीप को जम्बूद्वीप कहने के कारण इस प्रकार बताये हैं--(१) जम्बूवृक्ष से उपलक्षित होने के कारण यह जम्बूद्वीप कहलाता है / (2) जम्बूद्वीप के उत्तरकुरु क्षेत्र में यहाँ वहाँ स्थान-स्थान पर बहुत से जम्बूवृक्ष, जम्बूवन और जम्बूवनखण्ड हैं इसलिए भी यह जम्बूद्वीप कहलाता है / एक जातीय वृक्षसमुदाय को वन कहते हैं और अनेक जातीय वृक्षसमूह को वनखण्ड कहते हैं / (3) जम्बू नाम शाश्वत होने से भी यह जम्बूद्वीप कहलाता है / जम्बूद्वीप में चन्द्रादि की संख्या 152. जंबुद्दीवे णं भंते ! दोवे कति चंदा पभासिसु वा पभाति वा पभासिस्संति वा ? कति सूरिया तविसु वा तवंति वा तबिस्संति वा ? कति नक्खत्ता जोयं जोयंसु वा जोयंति वा जोयस्संति वा ? कति महग्गहा चारं चारिसु वा चरिति वा चरिस्संति वा ? केवइयाओ तारागणकोडाकोडीओ सोहंसु वा सोहंति वा सोहेस्संति वा? ___ गोयमा ! जंबुद्दीवे गं दीवे दो चंदा पभासिसु वा, पभासेंति वा पभासिस्संति वा / दो सूरिया विसु वा तवेंति वा तविस्संति वा / छप्पन्नं नक्खत्ता जोगं जोएंसु वा जोएंति वा जोइस्संति वा। छावत्तरं गहसयं चारं चरिसु वा चरैति वा चरिस्संति वा। एगं च सयसहस्सं तेत्तीसं खलु भवे सहस्साई। णव य सया पन्नासा तारागणकोडकोडीणं // 1 // सोभिसु वा सोभंति वा सोभिस्संति वा /
