338] जीवाजीवाभिगमसूत्र [121] हे भगवन् ! वानव्यन्तर देवों के भवन (भौमेय नगर) कहाँ कहे गये हैं ? जैसा स्थानपद में कहा वैसा कयन कर लेना चाहिए यावत् दिव्य भोग भोगते हुए विचरते हैं। हे भगवन् ! पिशाचदेवों के भवन कहाँ कहे गये हैं ? जैसा स्थानपद में कहा वैसा कथन कर लेना चाहिए यावत् दिव्य भोगों का उपभोग करते हुए विचरते हैं / वहाँ काल और महाकाल नाम के दो पिचाशकुमारराज रहते हैं यावत् विचरते हैं / हे भगवन् दक्षिण दिशा के पिशाचकुमारों के भवन कहाँ कहे गये हैं ? इत्यादि कथन कर लेना चाहिए यावत् भोग भोगते हुए विचरते हैं। वहां महद्धिक पिशाचकुमार इन्द्र पिशाचकुमारराज रहते है यावत् भोगों का उपभोग करते हुए विचरते हैं / हे भगवन् ! पिशाचकुमारेन्द्र पिशाचकुमारराज काल की कितनी परिषदाएँ हैं ? गौतम ! तीन परिषदाएँ हैं / वे इस प्रकार हैं-ईशा, त्रुटिता और दृढरथा / प्राभ्यन्तर परिषद् ईशा कहलाती है / मध्यम परिषद् त्रुटिता है और बाह्य परिषद् दृढरथा कहलाती है। हे भगवन् ! पिशाचकुमारेन्द्र पिशाचराज काल की आभ्यन्तर परिषद् में कितने हजार देव हैं ? यावत् बाह्य परिषद् में कितनी सौ देवियाँ हैं ? गौतम ! पिशाचकुमारेन्द्र पिशाचराज काल की प्राभ्यन्तर परिषद् में आठ हजार देव हैं, मध्यम परिषद् में दस हजार देव हैं और बाह्य परिषद् में बारह हजार देव हैं। आभ्यन्तर परिषदा में एक सौ देवियाँ हैं, मध्यम परिषदा में एक सौ और बाह्य परिषदा में भी एक सौ देवियाँ हैं। हे भगवन् ! पिशाचकुमारेन्द्र पिशाचराज की आभ्यन्तर परिषद् के देवों की स्थिति कितनी है ? मध्यम परिषद् के और बाह्य परिषद् के देवों की स्थिति कितनी है ? यावत् बाह्य परिषदा की देवियों की स्थिति कितनी है ? गौतम ! पिशाचकुमारेन्द्र पिशाचराज काल की प्राभ्यन्तर परिषद् के देवों की स्थिति आधे पल्योपम की है, मध्यमपरिपद् के देवों की देशोन आधा पल्योपम और बाह्यपरिषद् के देवों की स्थिति कछ अधिक पाव पल्यापम की है। प्राभ्यन्तरपरिषद की देवियों की स्थिति पल्योपम, मध्यमपरिषद् की देवियों की स्थिति पाव पल्योपम और बाह्य परिषद् की देवियों की स्थिति देशोन पाव पल्योपम की है / परिषदों का अर्थ प्रादि कथन चमरेन्द्र की तरह कहना चाहिए। इसी प्रकार उत्तर दिशा के वानव्यन्तरों के विषय में भी कहना चाहिए। उक्त सब कथन गीतयश नामक गन्धर्व इन्द्र पर्यन्त कहना चाहिए। विवेचन:-प्रस्तुत सूत्र में वानव्यन्तरों के भौमेय नगरों के विषय में प्रश्नोत्तर हैं / प्रश्न किया गया है कि वानव्यन्तर देवों के भवन (भौमेय नगर) कहाँ हैं / उत्तर में प्रज्ञापनासूत्र के द्वितीय स्थान पद के अनुसार वक्तव्यता कहने की सूचना की गई है। संक्षेप में प्रज्ञापनासूत्र में किया गया वर्णन इस प्रकार हैं ___ इस रत्नप्रभापृथ्वी के एक हजार योजन मोटे रत्नमय काण्ड के ऊपर से एक सौ योजन अवगाहन करने के बाद तथा नीचे के भी एक सौ योजन छोड़कर बीच में आठ सौ योजन में वानव्यन्तर देवों के तिरछे असंख्यात भौमेय (भूमिगृह समान) लाखों नगरावास हैं।
