334] [जीवाजीवाभिगमसूत्र हे भगवन् ! उत्तर दिशा के नागकुमार देवों के भवन कहाँ कहे गये हैं प्रादि वर्णन स्थानपद के अनुसार जानना चाहिए यावत् वहाँ भूतानन्द नामक नागकुमारेन्द्र नागकुमारराज रहता है यावत् भोगों का उपभोग करता हुआ विचरता है। हे भगवन् ! नागकुमारेन्द्र नागकुमारराज भूतानन्द की प्राभ्यन्तर परिषद् में कितने हजार देव हैं, मध्यम परिषद् में कितने हजार देव हैं और बाह्य परिषद् में कितने हजार देव हैं ? प्राभ्यन्तर परिषद् में कितनी सौ देवियाँ हैं, मध्यम परिषद् में कितनी सौ देवियाँ हैं ? और बाह्य परिषद् में कितनी सौ देवियाँ हैं ? गौतम ! नागकुमारेन्द्र नागकुमारराज भूतानन्द की आभ्यन्तर परिषद् में पचास हजार देव हैं, मध्यम परिषद् में साठ हजार देव हैं और बाह्य परिषद् में सत्तर हजार देव हैं / प्राभ्यन्तर परिषद् की देवियाँ 225 हैं, मध्यम परिषद् की देवियाँ 200 हैं तथा बाह्य परिषद् की देवियाँ 175 हैं। हे भगवन् ! नागकुमारेन्द्र नागकुमारराज भूतानन्द की प्राभ्यन्तर परिषद् के देवों की स्थिति कितनी कही है ? यावत् बाह्य परिषद् की देवियों की स्थिति कितनी कही है ? गौतम! भूतानन्द के आभ्यन्तर परिषद् के देवों की स्थिति देशोन पल्योपम है, मध्यम परिषद् के देवों की स्थिति कुछ अधिक आधे पल्योपम की है और बाह्य परिषद् के देवों की स्थिति प्राधे पल्योपम की है। अभ्यन्तर परिषद् की देवियों की स्थिति प्राधे पल्योपम की है, मध्यम परिषद् की देवियों की स्थिति देशोन प्राधे पल्योपम की है और बाह्य परिषद् की देवियों की स्थिति कुछ अधिक पाव पल्योपम है। परिषदों का अर्थ आदि कथन चमरेन्द्र की तरह जानना। शेष वेणुदेव से लगाकर महाघोष पर्यन्त की वक्तव्यता स्थानपद के अनुसार पूरी-पूरी कहना चाहिए। परिषद् के विषय में भिन्नता है वह इस प्रकार है-दक्षिण दिशा के भवनपति इन्द्रों की परिषद् धरणेन्द्र की तरह और उत्तर दिशा के भवनपति इन्द्रों की परिषदा भूतानन्द की तरह कहनी चाहिए / परिषदों, देव-देवियों की संख्या तथा स्थिति भी उसी तरह जान लेनी चाहिए। विवेचन-प्रस्तुत सूत्रों में असुरकुमार और नागकुमार भवनपतिदेवों के भवन, परिषदा, परिषदा का प्रमाण और स्थिति का वर्णन किया गया है जो मूलपाठ से ही स्पष्ट है। आगे के सुपर्णकुमार आदि भवनवासियों के लिए धरणेन्द्र और भूतानन्द की तरह जानने, की सूचना है / दक्षिण दिशा के भवनपतियों का वर्णन धरणेन्द्र की तरह और उत्तर दिशा के भवनपतियों का वर्णन भूतानन्द की तरह जानना चाहिए। इन भवनपतियों में भवनों की संख्या, इन्द्रों के नाम और परिमाण आदि में भिन्नता है वह पूर्वीचार्यों ने सात गाथाओं में बताई हैं जिनका भावार्थ इस प्रकार है 1. चउसट्ठी असुराणं चुलसीइ चेव होइ नागाणं / बावत्तरि सुवन्ने वायुकुमाराण छन्नउह // 1 // (शेष अगले पृष्ठ पर)
