318] जीवाजीवाभिगमसूत्र अट्ठाईस अन्तद्वीप हैं-यों छप्पन अन्तर्वीप हैं। हिमवान पर्वत जम्बूद्वीप में भरत और हैमवत क्षेत्रों की सीमा करने वाला है। वह पूर्व-पश्चिम के छोरों से लवणसमुद्र का स्पर्श करता है / लवणसमुद्र के जल-स्पर्श से लेकर पूर्व-पश्चिम दिशा में दो गजदन्ताकार दाढ़ें निकली हैं। उनमें से ईशानकोण में जो दाढा निकली है उस पर हिमवान पर्वत से तीन सौ योजन की दूरी पर लवणसमुद्र में 300 योजन लम्बा-चौड़ा और 949 योजन से कुछ अधिक की परिधि वाला एकोरुक नाम का द्वीप है / जो 300 धनुष विस्तृत, दो कोस ऊँची पद्मवरवेदिका से चारों ओर से मण्डित है। उसी हिमवान पर्वत के पर्यन्त भाग से दक्षिणपूर्वकोण में तीन सौ योजन दूर लवणसमुद्र में अवगाहन करते ही दूसरी दाढा पाती है जिस पर एकोरुक द्वीप जितना ही लम्बा-चौड़ा आभाषिक नामक द्वीप है। उसो हिमवान पर्वत के पश्चिम दिशा के छोर से लेकर दक्षिण-पश्चिम दिशा (नैऋत्यकोण) में तीन सौ योजन लवणसमुद्र में अवगाहन करने के बाद एक दाढ पाती है, जिस पर उसी प्रमाण का लांगूलिक नाम का द्वीप है एवं उसी हिमवान् पर्वत के पश्चिमदिशा के छोर से लेकर पश्चिमोत्तरदिशा (वायव्यकोण) में तीन सौ योजन दूर लवणसमुद्र में एक दादा पाती है, जिस पर पूर्वोक्तप्रमाणवाला वैषाणिक द्वीप पाता है। इस प्रकार ये चारों द्वीप हिमवान पर्वत से चारों विदिशाओं में हैं और समान प्रमाण वाले हैं। इनका प्राकार, भाव, प्रत्यवतार मूलपाठानुसार स्पष्ट ही है। 112. कहिं णं भंते ! दाहिणिल्लाणं यकण्णमणुस्साणं हयकण्णवोदे णाम बोवे पण्णत्ते ? गोयमा ! एगोल्यदीवस्स उत्तरपुरच्छिमिल्लानो चरिमंताओ लवणसमुदं चत्तारि जोयणसयाई ओगाहिता एत्थ णं दाहिणिल्लाणं हयकण्णमणुस्साणं हयकण्णदीवे णामं वीवे पण्णत्ते, चत्तारि जोयणसयाई आयाभविक्खंभेणं बारस जोयणसया पन्नट्टी किचिविसेसूणा परिक्खेवणं / से णं एगाए पउमववेदि याए अवसेसं जहा एगोल्याणं / कहिं गं भंते ! दाहिणिल्लाणं गजकण्णमणुस्साणं पुच्छा। गोयमा ! आभासियदीवस्स दाहिणपुरथिमिल्लाओ चरिमंताओ लवणसमुदं चत्तारि जोयणसयाई सेसं जहा हयकण्णाणं / / एवं गोकरणमणुस्साणं पुच्छा? वेसाणियवीवस्स दाहिणपच्चथिमिल्लाओ चरिमंताओ लवणसमुदं चत्तारि जोयणसयाई सेसं जहा हयकण्णाणं। सफ्कुलिकण्णाणं पुच्छा? गोयमा ! गंगोलियदोवस्स उत्तरपच्चथिमिल्लाओ चरिमंतानो लवणसमुदं चत्तारिजोयणसयाई सेसं जहा हयकण्णाणं / आयंसमुहाणं पुच्छा ? हयकण्णदोवस्स उत्तरपुरच्छिमिल्लाओ चरिमंताओ पंच जोयणसयाई प्रोगाहिता एत्य गं वाहिणिल्लाणं आयंसमुहमणुस्साणं आयंसमुहदीवे णाम दीवे पण्णत्ते / पंचजोयणसयाई आयामविक्खंभेणं; प्रासमुहाईणं छसया आसकन्नाईणं सत्त, उक्कामुहाईणं अट्ठ, घणवंताईणं जाव नव जोयणसयाई
