314] [जीवाजीवाभिगमसूत्र प्रसिद्ध सवारी विशेष) प्रवहण (नौका-जहाज), शिबिका (पालखी), स्यन्दमानिका (छोटी पालखी) आदि वाहन हैं क्या ? __ हे आयुष्मन् श्रमण ! वहाँ उक्त वाहन (सवारियाँ) नहीं हैं। वे मनुष्य पैदल चलने वाले होते हैं। हे भगवन् ! एकोरुक द्वीप में घोड़ा, हाथी, ऊँट, बैल, भैंस-भैंसा, गधा, टटू, बकरा-बकरी और भेड़ होते हैं क्या? हाँ गौतम ! होते तो हैं परन्तु उन मनुष्यों के उपभोग के लिए नहीं होते। हे भगवन् ! एकोरुक द्वीप में सिंह, व्याघ्र, भेडिया, चीता, रीछ, गेंडा, तरक्ष (तेंदुआ) बिल्ली, सियाल, कुत्ता, सूअर, लोमड़ी, खरगोश, चित्तल (चितकबरा पशुविशेष) और चिल्लक (पशुविशेष) हैं क्या? हे आयुष्मन् श्रमण ! वे पशु हैं परन्तु वे परस्पर या वहाँ के मनुष्यों को पीडा या बाधा नहीं देते हैं और उनके अवयवों का छेदन नहीं करते हैं क्योंकि वे श्वापद स्वभाव से भद्रिक होते हैं। हे भगवन् ! एकोरुक द्वीप में शालि, व्रीहि, गेहूं, जौ, तिल और इक्षु होते हैं क्या? - हाँ गौतम ! होते हैं किन्तु उन पुरुषों के उपभोग में नहीं आते। हे भगवन् ! एकोरुक द्वीप में गड्ढे, बिल, दरारें, भृगु (पर्वतशिखर आदि ऊँचे स्थान), अवपात (गिरने की संभावना वाले स्थान), विषमस्थान, कीचड, धूल, रज, पंक-कीचड़ कादव और चलनी (पांव में चिपकने वाला कीचड) आदि हैं क्या ? हे आयुष्मन् श्रमण ! वहाँ ये गड्ढे आदि नहीं है / एकोरुक द्वीप का भू-भाग बहुत समतल और रमणीय है। हे भगवन् ! एकोहक द्वीप में स्थाणु (ठंठ) काँटे, होरक (तीखी लकड़ी का टुकडा) कंकर, तृण का कचरा, पत्तों का कचरा, अशुचि, सडांध, दुर्गन्ध और अपवित्र पदार्थ हैं क्या ? हे आयुष्मन् श्रमण ! एकोरुक द्वीप में उक्त स्थाणु आदि नहीं हैं। वह द्वीप स्थाणु-कंटकहीरक, कंकर-तृणकचरा, पत्र कचरा, अशुचि, पूति, दुर्गन्ध और अपवित्रता से रहित है। हे भगवन् ! एकोरुक द्वीप में डांस, मच्छर, पिस्सू, जूं, लीख, माकण (खटमल) आदि हैं क्या ? हे आयुष्मन् श्रमण ! यह अर्थ समर्थ नहीं है। वह द्वीप डांस, मच्छर, पिस्सू, जूं, लीख, खटमल से रहित है। हे भगवन् ! एकोहक द्वीप में सर्प, अजगर और महोरग हैं क्या ? हे आयुष्मन श्रमण ! वे हैं तो सही परन्तु परस्पर या वहाँ के लोगों को बाधा-पीड़ा नहीं पहुँचाते हैं, न ही काटते हैं / वे व्यालगण (सर्पादि) स्वभाव से ही भद्रिक होते हैं। __हे भगवन ! एकोरुक द्वीप में (अनिष्टसूचक) दण्डाकार ग्रहसमुदाय, मूसलाकार ग्रहसमुदाय, ग्रहों के संचार को ध्वनि, ग्रहयुद्ध (दो ग्रहों का एक स्थान पर होना) ग्रहसंघाटक (त्रिकोणाकार ग्रह
