द्वितीय प्रतिपत्ति : अल्पबहुत्व] [161 ईशान में संख्यातगुण ही प्रमाण बताया है, ऐसा क्यों ? इसका उत्तर यही है कि तथास्वभाव से ही ऐसा है / प्रज्ञापना आदि में सर्वत्र ऐसा ही कहा गया है। सौधर्म देवों से भवनवासी देव असंख्येयगुण हैं। क्योंकि वे अंगुलमात्र क्षेत्र की प्रदेश राशि के प्रथम वर्गमूल में द्वितीय वर्गमूल का गुणा करने से जितनी प्रदेश राशि होती है, उतनी घनीकृत लोक की एक प्रादेशिकी श्रेणियों में जितने आकाशप्रदेश हैं, उनके बत्तीसवें भाग प्रमाण हैं / उनसे व्यन्तर देव असंख्येयगुण हैं क्योंकि वे एक प्रतर के संख्येय कोडाकोडी योजन प्रमाण एक प्रादेशिकी श्रेणी प्रमाण जितने खण्ड होते हैं, उनका बत्तीसवें भाग प्रमाण हैं। उनसे ज्योतिष्क देव संख्येयगुण हैं। क्योंकि दो सौ छप्पन अंगुल प्रमाण एक प्रादेशिकी श्रेणी जितने एक प्रतर में जितने खण्ड होते हैं, उनके बत्तीसवें भाग प्रमाण हैं। अब पांचवा अल्पबहुत्व कहते हैं सबसे थोड़े अन्तर्वीपिक मनुष्य हैं, क्योंकि क्षेत्र थोड़ा है, उनसे देवकुरु-उत्तरकुरु के मनुष्यपुरुष संख्येयगुण हैं, क्योंकि क्षेत्र बहुत है / स्वस्थान में दोनों परस्पर तुल्य हैं क्षेत्र समान होने से। उनसे हरिवर्ष रम्यकवर्ष के मनुष्यपुरुष संख्येयगुण हैं, क्योंकि क्षेत्र प्रतिबहुल होने से / स्वस्थान में परस्पर तुल्य हैं क्योंकि क्षेत्र समान हैं। ____उनसे हैमवत हैरण्यवत के मनुष्यपुरुष संख्येयगुण हैं क्योंकि क्षेत्र की अल्पता होने पर भी स्थिति को अल्पता के कारण उनकी प्रचुरता है / स्वस्थान में परस्पर तुल्य हैं / उनसे भरत ऐरवत कर्मभूमि के मनुष्यपुरुष संख्येयगुण हैं, क्योंकि अजित प्रभु के काल में उत्कृष्ट पद में स्वभावतः ही मनुष्यपुरुषों की अति प्रचुरता होती है / स्वस्थान में दोनों परस्पर तुल्य हैं, क्योंकि क्षेत्र की तुल्यता है। __उनसे पूर्वविदेह पश्चिमविदेह के मनुष्य पुरुष संख्येय गुण हैं। क्योंकि क्षेत्र की बहुलता होने से अजितस्वामी के काल की तरह स्वभाव से ही मनुष्यपुरुषों की प्रचुरता होती है / स्वस्थान में परस्पर दोनों तुल्य हैं। उनसे अनुत्तरोपपातिक देव असंख्येयगुण हैं, क्योंकि वे क्षेत्रपल्योपम के असंख्येय भागवर्ती आकाश प्रदेशराशि प्रमाण हैं। __उनसे उपरितन अवेयक देवपुरुष, मध्यम अवेयक देवपुरुष, अधस्तन ग्रेवेयक देवपुरुष, अच्युतकल्प देवपुरुष, पारणकल्प देवपुरुष, प्राणतकल्प देवपुरुष, अानतकल्प देवपुरुष यथोत्तर (क्रमशः) संख्येयगुण हैं। उनसे सहस्रारकल्प देवपुरुष, लान्तककल्प देवपुरुष, ब्रह्मलोककल्प देवपुरुष, माहेन्द्रकल्प देवपुरुष, सनत्कुमारकल्प देवपुरुष, ईशानकल्प देवपुरुष यथोत्तर (क्रमश:) असंख्येयगुण हैं / उनसे सौधर्मकल्प के देवपुरुष संख्येयगुण हैं। सौधर्मकल्प देवपुरुषों से भवनवासी देवपुरुष असंख्येय गुण हैं। उनसे खेचर तिर्यंचयोनिक पुरुष असंख्येयगुण हैं। क्योंकि वे प्रतर के असंख्येय भागवर्ती असंख्यातश्रेणिगत आकाश प्रदेशराशि प्रमाण हैं।
