मंत्र को पूरा करके उसके मनोरथ को सिद्ध किया और उस विद्याधर से आकाशगामिनि विद्या की सिद्धि का उपाय सीख लिया।
अधिक अक्षर जोड़ कर पढ़ा जाये तो – यथा 'नल' शब्द के पहले 'अ' जोड़ कर पढ़ा जाये तो 'अनल' बन जाता है, जिसका अर्थ अग्नि है । पद को न्यून या अधिक करके बोला गया हो, विनयरहित पढ़ा गया हो, योगहीन पढ़ा हो, उदात्तादि स्वर रहित पढ़ा हो, शक्ति से अधिक पढ़ाया हो, पढ़ा हो, आगम को बुरे भाव से ग्रहण किया हो।
अकाल में स्वाध्याय किया हो और स्वाध्याय के लिये नियत काल में स्वाध्याय न किया हो, अस्वाध्याय के समय स्वाध्याय किया हो, स्वाध्याय के समय स्वाध्याय न किया हो तथा पढ़ते समय, विचरते समय ज्ञान तथा ज्ञानवंत पुरुषों की अविनय-अशातना की हो तो मेरा वह सब पाप निष्फल हो।
