विवेचन - साध्वी के उपाश्रय में साधु किन-किन कारणों से जा सकता है, भाष्यकार ने इसका वर्णन किया है तथा प्रविधि से प्रवेश करने पर अनेक दोषों की संभावनाएं कही हैं ।
"प्रविधि" - - प्रवेश करने से पूर्व सूचना दिये बिना प्रवेश करना अर्थात् मौन रहकर प्रवेश करना प्रविधि प्रवेश कहलाता है ।
साध्वी के उपाश्रय के बाहर ग्रर्थात् मुख्य प्रवेशद्वार के बाहर ठहर कर संबोधन के शब्दों से अपने आने की सूचना देना और साध्वियों को जानकारी हो जाने के कुछ समय बाद प्रवेश करना अथवा सूचना देने के बाद साध्वियों के सावधान हो जाने पर किसी साध्वी के द्वारा " पधारो" इस तरह संकेत रूप शब्द के कहने पर प्रवेश करना “विधि प्रवेश" कहलाता है ।
प्रवेश करते समय “णिसीहि" शब्दोचारण करने की व्याख्या भी मिलती है किन्तु यह व्याख्या उपयुक्त नहीं लगती, क्योंकि उपाश्रय में प्रवेश करते समय प्रत्येक साध्वी के इस शब्द का उच्चारण करने की विधि होती है अतः साधु के प्रवेश करने का योग्य भिन्न शब्द संकेत रूप होना चाहिये अथवा श्रावक या श्राविका के द्वारा सूचना करवा देने के बाद प्रवेश करना चाहिये ।
तात्पर्य यह है कि साधु के प्रवेश की जानकारी साध्वी को हो जानी चाहिए | आगमोक्त कारण बिना प्रवेश करना भी प्रविधि प्रवेश ही है । विशेष जानकारी के लिए भाष्य का अध्ययन करना चाहिए |
साध्वी के आगमन पथ में उपकरण रखने का प्रायश्चित्त
३५. जे भिक्खू णिग्गंथीणं आगमणपहंसि, दंडगं वा, लट्ठियं वा, रयहरणं वा, मुहपोत्तियं वा अणयरं वा उवगरणजायं ठवेइ, ठवेंतं वा साइज्जइ ।
