चूर्णि - "पच्छाकडो = पुराणो, पढम ता तेण कराविज्जति । तस्स अभावे साभिग्रहो = अणुव्वयसंपन्नो, सावओ । ततो निरभिग्गहो दंसणसावओ । ततो भद्दओ = असण्णी । एते चउरो गिहिभेदा | अण्णउत्थिए वि एते चउरो भेदा पच्छाकडादि । एक्केके असोय सोय भेया कायव्वा । पुव्वं गिहि असोएसु पच्छा सोयवादीसु, पच्छा अण्णतित्थिए ।
परिस्थितिवश अपना कार्य गृहस्थ से कराना हो तो यह क्रम है
१. श्रमण वेश त्यागी अथवा वृद्ध अनुभवी से कार्य करावे,
२. वह न मिले तो अणुव्रतधारी श्रावक से,
३. वह न मिले तो श्रद्धावान् श्रावक से,
४. वह न मिले तो भद्र परिणामी से । ये चार स्वमत के गृहस्थ हैं ।
अन्यतीर्थिक = = परमत के गृहस्थ के भी इसी तरह चार भेद व क्रम समझना चाहिए । अर्थात् उपर्युक्त चार प्रकार के गृहस्थ के अभाव में—
५. संन्यासत्यागी अथवा वृद्ध अनुभवी से कार्य करवावे,
६. वह न मिले तो अन्यमत के व्रतों का पालन करने वाले से,
७. वह न मिले तो अन्यमत के श्रद्धालु से,
८. वह न मिले तो सरल स्वभाव वाले से
इस प्रकार यहाँ " अण्णउत्थिय" से अन्यमत के गृहस्थ तथा "गारत्थिय” से स्वमत के गृहस्थ का कथन किया गया है । यही पद्धति आगे के सभी उद्देशों में भी समझनी चाहिये । किन्तु उद्देशक दो में तथा १९ में इन दोनों शब्दों के प्रयोग से क्रमशः अनेक प्रकार के भिक्षाचरों का एवं मिथ्यामतभावित गृहस्थों का कथन किया गया है, अन्य गृहस्थों का नहीं, इसका स्पष्टीकरण वहीं से जान लेना चाहिए ।
निष्प्रयोजन याचना का प्रायश्चित्त
१९. जे भिक्खू अणट्ठाए सूइं जायइ, जायंतं वा साइज्जइ । २०. जे भिक्खू अणट्टाए पिप्पलगं जायइ, जायंतं वा साइज्जइ । २१. जे भिक्खू अट्ठाए णहच्छेयणगं जायइ, जायंतं वा साइज्जइ ।
२२. जे भिक्खू अणट्ठाए वण्णसोहणगं जायइ, जायंतं वा साइज्जइ ।
१९. जो भिक्षु बिना प्रयोजन सूई की याचना करता है या याचना करने वाले का अनुमोदन
करता है ।
२०. जो भिक्षु बिना प्रयोजन कतरणी की याचना करता है या याचना करने वाले का अनुमोदन करता है।
