अतीव देदीप्यमान था। उसे देखते ही दर्शक के नयन उसमें चिपक-से जाते थे। उसका स्पर्श सुखप्रद था और रूप शोभा-सम्पन्न था। उसमें सुवर्ण, मणि एवं रत्नों की स्तूपिकाएँ बनी हुई थीं। उसका प्रधान शिखर घंटाओं सहित नाना प्रकार की पाँच वर्णों की पताकाओं से सुशोभित था। वह चहुँ ओर देदीप्यमान किरणों के समूह को फैला रहा था। वह लिपा था, धुला था और चंदोवे से युक्त था यावत् वह भवन गंध की वत्ती जैसा जान पड़ता था। वह चित्त को प्रसन्न करने वाला, दर्शनीय, अभिरूप और प्रतिरूप था—अतीव मनोहर था।
