Here is the English translation, preserving the Jain terms:
The Devī (celestial queen) had a wonderful, auspicious, blessed, and magnificent dream. She saw in the dream a lion-like figure with the following characteristics:
It had a face that was charming, beautiful, and delightful, with a gentle, soft, and delicate tongue like a lotus petal. Its eyes were wide, large, and pure like lightning. It had a broad chest, well-developed shoulders, and a body with fine, delicate, and praiseworthy features. Its hair was beautifully arranged, and its tail was gracefully curved. It had a moon-like appearance, was playful and yawning, and was reclining comfortably.
After seeing this magnificent dream, the Devī was delighted and overjoyed. She carefully grasped the dream, recollected it, and then approached King Vāsudeva with the dream, addressing him with sweet, pleasant, and auspicious words.
The king, upon hearing the description of the dream, was also delighted and overjoyed. He carefully grasped the meaning of the dream through his own innate wisdom and understanding.
The king then told the Devī that the dream was auspicious, indicating the birth of a child who would be charming, beautiful, blessed, and a source of joy, prosperity, and well-being. The child would be the pride, glory, and support of the family, and would bring happiness and fame to the lineage.
