[अन्तकृद्दशा साधुवृत्ति के अनुसार धनी-निर्धन आदि सभी घरों में भिक्षा के लिये] भ्रमण करने लगे।
विवेचन-प्रस्तुत सूत्र में बताया गया है कि भगवान् अरिष्टनेमि के छहों मुनि भगवान् से आज्ञा लेकर तीन भागों में विभाजित होकर द्वारका नगरी में बेले के पारणे के लिये पधारते हैं। साधुओं का भिक्षार्थ गमन कब और किस प्रकार होता है, यह इस सूत्र में बताया गया है।

उन तीन संघाटकों (संघाड़ों) में से एक संघाड़ा द्वारका नगरी के ऊँच-नीच-मध्यम घरों में, एक घर से, दूसरे घर, भिक्षाचर्या के हेतु भ्रमण करता हुआ राजा वसुदेव की महारानी देवकी के प्रासाद में प्रविष्ट हुआ।
उस समय वह देवकी रानी उन दो मुनियों के एक संघाडे को अपने यहाँ आता देखकर हृष्ट-तुष्ट [चित्त के साथ आनन्दित हुई। प्रीतिवश उसका मन परमाह्लाद को प्राप्त हुआ, हर्षातिरेक से उसका हृदय कमलवत् प्रफुल्लित हो उठा] आसन से उठकर वह सात-आठ कदम मुनियुगल के. सम्मुख गई। सामने जाकर उसने तीन बार दक्षिण की ओर से उनकी प्रदक्षिणा की। प्रदक्षिणा कर उन्हें वन्दन-नमस्कार किया। वन्दन-नमस्कार के पश्चात् जहाँ भोजनशाला थी वहाँ आई। भोजनशाला में आकर सिंहकेसर मोदकों से एक थाल भरा और थाल भर कर उन मुनियों को प्रतिलाभ दिया। पुनः वन्दन-नमस्कार करके तत्पश्चात् देवकी ने उन्हें प्रतिविसर्जित किया अर्थात् विदाई दी।
प्रथम संघाटक के लौट जाने के पश्चात् उन छह सहोदर साधुओं के तीन संघाटकों में से दूसरा संघाटक भी द्वारका के उच्च-नीच-मध्यम कुलों में भिक्षार्थ भ्रमण करता हुआ महारानी देवकी के प्रासाद में आया।
विवेचन-प्रस्तुत सूत्र में अरिष्टनेमि भगवान् के छह साधुओं में से पहली और दूसरी टोली को महाराज वसुदेव की महारानी देवकी देवी द्वारा सत्कृत और सन्मानित करने के अनन्तर विधिपूर्वक दी जाने वाली सिंह-केशर मोदकों की भिक्षा का वर्णन किया गया है। मुनियों की दो टोलियाँ देवकी के घर से आहार लेकर चली गईं, इसके पश्चात् तीसरी टोली के संबंध में सूत्रकार आगे कहते हैं -
