वर्तमान में तेरापंथ सम्प्रदाय के आचार्य श्री तुलसी ने भी यह भगीरथ प्रयत्न प्रारम्भ किया है और अच्छे स्तर से उनका आगम-कार्य चल रहा है। मुनि श्री कन्हैयालालजी 'कमल' आगमों की वक्तव्यता को अनुयोगों में वर्गीकृत करने का मौलिक एवं महत्वपूर्ण प्रयास कर रहे हैं।
श्वेताम्बर मूर्तिपूजक परम्परा के विद्वान् श्रमण स्व. मुनि श्री पुण्यविजयजी ने आगम सम्पादन की दिशा में बहुत ही व्यवस्थित व उत्तम कोटि का कार्य प्रारम्भ किया था। उनके स्वर्गवास के पश्चात् मुनि श्री जम्बूविजयजी के तत्वावधान में यह सुन्दर प्रयत्न चल रहा है।
उक्त सभी कार्यों का विहंगम अवलोकन करने के बाद मेरे मन में एक संकल्प उठा। आज कहीं तो आगमों का मूल मात्र प्रकाशित हो रहा है और कहीं आगमों की विशाल व्याख्याएँ की जा रही हैं। एक, पाठक के लिए दुर्बोध है तो दूसरी जटिल। मध्यम मार्ग का अनुसरण कर आगमवाणी का भावोद्घाटन करने वाला ऐसा प्रयत्न होना चाहिए जो सुबोध भी ही, सरल भी हो, संक्षिप्त हो पर सारपूर्ण व सुगम हो।
गुरुदेव ऐसा ही चाहते थे। उसी भावना को लक्ष्य में रखकर मैंने ४-५ वर्ष पूर्व इस विषय में चिन्तन प्रारम्भ किया। सुदीर्घ चिन्तन के पश्चात् वि. सं. २०३६ वैशाख शुक्ला १० महावीर कैवल्यदिवस को दृढ़ निर्णय करके आगम-बत्तीसी का सम्पादन-विवेचन कार्य प्रारम्भ कर दिया और अब पाठकों के हाथों में आगम-ग्रन्थ क्रमश: पहुँच रहे हैं, इसकी मुझे अत्यधिक प्रसन्नता है।
आगम-सम्पादन का यह ऐतिहासिक कार्य पूज्य गुरुदेव की पुण्यस्मृति में आयोजित किया गया है। आज उनका पुण्य स्मरण मेरे मन को उल्लसित कर रहा है। साथ ही मेरे वन्दनीय गुरु-भ्राता पूज्य स्वामी श्री हजारीमलजी महाराज की प्रेरणाएँ-उनकी आगम-भक्ति तथा आगम सम्बन्धी तलस्पर्शी ज्ञान, प्राचीन धारणाएँ, मेरा सम्बल बनी है। अतः मैं उन दोनों स्वर्गीय आत्माओं की पुण्यस्मृति में विभोर हूँ।
शासनसेवी स्वामीजी श्री ब्रजलालजी महाराज का मार्गदर्शन, उत्साह-संवर्द्धन, सेवाभावी शिष्य मुनि विनयकुमार का साहचर्य-बल, सेवा-सहयोग तथा महासती श्री कानकुँवरजी, महासती श्री झणकारकुँवरजी, परमविदुषी महासती श्री उमरावकुँवरजी, म.सा. अर्चना- की विनम्र प्रेरणाएँ मुझे सदा प्रोत्साहित तथा कार्यनिष्ठ बनाये रखने में सहायक रही हैं।

After long contemplation, on V.S. 2036, Vaishakh Shukla 10, Mahavir Kaivalya Divas, I made a firm decision and started the editing and commentary work of Agam-Battisi, and now the Agam texts are gradually reaching the hands of the readers, I am very happy about it.
This historical work of Agam editing has been organized in the memory of our revered Gurudev. Today, his auspicious memory is making my mind joyful. Along with this, the inspirations of my venerable Guru-brother, revered Swami Shri Hazarimlalji Maharaj - his Agam devotion and profound knowledge of Agam, ancient beliefs, have been my support. Therefore, I am overwhelmed in the memory of both those heavenly souls.
The guidance of Shasansevi Swami Shri Brajlalji Maharaj, the encouragement of enthusiasm, the companionship-strength of the service-minded disciple Muni Vinaykumar, service-cooperation, and the humble inspirations of Mahasati Shri Kanakunwarji, Mahasati Shri Jhankarkunwarji, Paramvidushi Mahasati Shri Umraovkunwarji, M.Sa. Archana - have always been helpful in keeping me motivated and dedicated to my work.
