एकादशस्थानक-समवाय]
[३१ विस्तार वाला कहा गया है।
विवेचन-मन्दर मेरु एक लाख योजन ऊंचा हैं, उसमें से एक हजार योजन भूमि के भीतर मूल रूप में और भूमितल से ऊपर निन्यानवै (९९) हजार योजन ऊंचा है तथा वह धरणीतल पर दश हजार योजन विस्तृत है और शिखर पर एक हजार योजन विस्तृत है। यतः ११ x ९ = ९९ निन्यानवे होते हैं, अतः भूमितल के दश हजार योजन विस्तार वाले भाग से ऊपर ग्यारह योजन जाने पर उसका विस्तार एक योजन कम हो जाता है, इस नियम के अनुसार निन्यानवै हजार योजन ऊपर जाने पर सुमेरु पर्वत का शिखरतल एक हजार योजन विस्तृत सिद्ध हो जाता है। इसी नियम को ध्यान में रखकर मन्दर पर्वत के धरणीतल के विस्तार से शिखरतल का विस्तार ग्यारहवें भाग से हीन कहा गया है।

७६-लंतए कप्पे अत्थेगइयाणं देवाणं एकारस सागरोवमाई ठिई पण्णत्ता। जे देवा बंभं सुबंभं बंभावत्तं बंभप्पभं बंभकंतं बंभवण्णं बंभलेसं बंभज्झयं बंभसिंगं बंभसिटुं बंभकूडं बंभुत्तरवडिंसगं विमाणं देवत्ताए उववण्णा तेसिंणं देवाणं एक्कारस सागरोवमाइं ठिई पण्णत्ता। ते णं देवा एक्कारसण्हं अद्धमासाणं आणमंति वा पाणमंति वा, ऊससंति वा नीससंति वा। तेसिं णं देवाणं एक्कारसण्हं वाससहस्साणं आहारट्टे समुप्पज्जइ।

___ लान्तक कल्प में कितनेक देवों की स्थिति ग्यारह सागरोपम है। वहाँ पर जो देव ब्रह्म, सुब्रह्म, ब्रह्मावर्त, ब्रह्मप्रभ, ब्रह्मकान्त, ब्रह्मवर्ण, ब्रह्मलेश्य, ब्रह्मध्वज, ब्रह्मश्रृंग, ब्रह्मसृष्ट, ब्रह्मकूट और ब्रह्मोत्तरावतंसक नाम के विमानों में देव रूप से उत्पन्न होते हैं, उन देवों की स्थिति ग्यारह सागरोपम कही गई है। वे देव ग्यारह अर्धमासों (साढ़े पांच मासों) के बाद आन-प्राण या उच्छ्वास-नि:श्वास लेते हैं। उन देवों को ग्यारह हजार वर्ष के बाद आहार की इच्छा होती है।
कितनेक भव्यसिद्धिक जीव ऐसे हैं जो ग्यारह भव करके सिद्ध होंगे, बुद्ध होंगे, कर्मों से मुक्त होंगे, परम निर्वाण को प्राप्त होंगे और सर्व दुःखों का अन्त करेंगे।
