६-श्री जिनसिंह को प्राचार्य पदवी दी। १०-११-मुनि गुणविनय और मुनि समयसुदर को वाचनाचार्य की पदवी दी । १२-१३-वाचक जयसोम तथा मुनि रत्ननिधान को उपाध्याय पदवी दी।
इस प्रकार आचार्य हीरविजय सूरि तथा उनके शिष्यों-प्रशिष्यों एवं प्राचार्य जिनचंद्र सरि और उनके शिष्यों-प्रशिष्यों (इन सब श्वेतांबर मुनियों) को अकबर ने तथा उसके वंशजों ने सादर पदवियां प्रदान की।
उपयुक्त श्वेतांबर प्राचार्य हीरविजय सूरि आदि के उपदेशों ने अकबर पर जादू का असर किया और उसमें कैसा परिवर्तन आया उसका कुछ संक्षिप्त परिचय यहाँ देते हैं -
अकबर के दरबार में दो मुसलमान विद्वान ऐसे थे जिनका सम्पर्क दिन-रात प्रकवर के साथ रहता था। १-अबुलफज़ल तथा २-बदाउनी । इन्होंने सम्राट के विषय में लिखा है कि
अबुलफज़ल अपनी पाइने अकबरी पुस्तक में लिखता है कि
“Now, It is his intention to quit it by degrees, confirming, however, a little to the spirit of the age. His Majesty abstained from meat for some time on Fridays and then on Sundays; now on the first day of every solar month, on solar and lunar eclipses, on days between two fasts, on the Mondays of the month of Rajab, on the feast day of the every solar month, during the whole month of Forwardin and during the month in which His Majesty was born, viz., the month of Aban."]
अर्थात् -- वह (बादशाह) समय की भावनाओं को कुछ हद तक ध्यान में रखते हुए वर्तमान में धीरे-धीरे मांस छोड़ने का विचार रखता है। बादशाह बहुत समय तक शुक्रवारों (जुम्मा) और तत्पश्चात् रविवारों (सूर्य के वारों) में भी मांस नहीं खाता। वर्तमान में प्रत्येक सौर्य महीने की पहली तारीख (सूर्य-संक्राति), रविवार, सूर्य तथा चन्द्र ग्रहण के दिन, दो उपवासों के बीच के दिन, रजब महीने के सोमवारों, प्रत्येक सौर महीने के त्योहारों, सारे फरवरदीन महीने में तथा अपने जन्मदिन के महीने में- अर्थात् सारे प्राबास मास में (बादशाह) मांस भक्षण नहीं करता।'
इसी की पुष्टि में अकबर दरबार का कट्टर मुसलमान बदाउनी इस प्रकार लिखता है
“At the tin e His Majesty promulgated some of his-faugled degrees. The killing of animals on the first day of the week was strictly prohibited (P. 322) because this day is secred to the Sun, also during the first eighteen days of the month of Farwardin; the whole of the month of Aban (the month in which His Majesty was born); and on several other days, to please the Hindus.
