७. अयगर-गोणस - वराहि - मउलि- काउदर - दब्भपुष्प - आसालिय-महोरगोरगविहाणकाए य एवमाई ।
७. अजगर, गोणस - बिना फन का सर्पविशेष, बराहि - दृष्टिविष सर्प-जिसके नेत्रों में विष होता है, मुकुली - - फन वाला साँप, काउदर- काकोदर - सामान्य सर्प, दब्भपुप्फ-दर्भपुष्प - एक प्रकार का दर्वीकर
सर्प, आसालिक - सर्पविशेष, महोरग - विशालकाय सर्प, इन सब और इस प्रकार के अन्य उरपरिसर्प जीवों का पापी जन वध करते हैं।

विवेचन : छाती से रेंगकर चलने वाले जीव उरपरिसर्प जीव कहलाते हैं। इन नामों में एक नाम आसालिक आया है । टीका में इसका विशेष परिचय दिया गया है। आसालिक बारह योजन लम्बा होता है। यह सम्मूर्च्छिम है और इसकी आयु मात्र एक अन्तर्मुहूर्त्त की होती है। इसकी उत्पत्ति भूमि के अन्दर होती है। जब किसी चक्रवर्ती अथवा वासुदेव के विनाश का समय सन्निकट आता है तब यह उसके स्कन्धावार- सेना के पड़ाव के नीचे अथवा किसी नगरादि के विनाश के समय उसके नीचे उत्पन्न होता है। उसके उत्पन्न होने से पृथ्वी का वह भाग पोला हो जाता है और वह स्कन्धावार अथवा बस्ती उसी पोल में समाकर विनष्ट हो जाती है।
महोरग का परिचय देते हुए टीकाकार ने उल्लेख किया है कि यह सर्प एक हजार योजन लम्बा होता है और अढ़ाई द्वीप के बाहर होता है। किन्तु यदि यह अढ़ाई द्वीप से बाहर ही होता है तो मनुष्य इसका वध नहीं कर सकते । सम्भव है अन्य किसी जाति के प्राणी वध करते हों । चतुर्थ सूत्र में 'केइ पावा' आदि पाठ हैं। वहाँ मनुष्यों का उल्लेख भी नहीं किया गया है। तत्त्व केवलिगम्य है।
Elaboration-The creatures that move along their breast are called Uraparisarp. Asalik also occurs as one of the above names. In the commentary this name is particularly mentioned. Asalik is twelve yojans long. It comes into existence without parents. Its life-span is less than 48 minutes. It takes birth under the earth. When a Chakravarti or Vasudev is near his end, it takes birth under the place where his army is camping. In case the destined period is for the destruction of a town, it takes birth under that town. Due to its growth, that part of the land becomes porous and that camping ground or the colony sinks in it and thus gets eliminated.

Ajgar (large snake), Gonas (a special type of snake), Varahi (snake where eyes are poisonous), Mukuli (snake havings wing), Kaudar 卐 (common snake), Dabbhapuph (a type of snake), Aasalik (a peculiar type of snake), Mahorag (gigantic snake). The violent people hurt or kill such and also other types of creatures that move along their breast.
