into the mind of a monk as an intrinsic attitude (samskar). These five sentiments should be observed throughout life. This great vow blocks the inflow of karmas, is free of pervert feelings and any leakage, has noble thoughts and is free of troubles. This association of sentiments has been conveyed by all jinas.
