95555555555555555555555555)))) बहुसंचियाई' अर्थात् घोर प्रमाद, राग और द्वेष के कारण पापकर्मों का बहुत संचय किया गया था। संचित कर्म जब अधिक होते हैं और उनकी स्थिति भी आयुकर्म की स्थिति से अत्यधिक होती है तब उसे भोगने के लिए पापी जीवों को तिर्यंचयोनि में उत्पन्न होना पड़ता है। नारक जीव नरक से निकलकर सर्वप्रथम तिर्यंच पंचेन्द्रियों में उत्पन्न होते हैं; अतएव यहाँ पंचेन्द्रिय जीवों-तिर्यंचों के दुःख का वर्णन किया गया है। तिर्यंच पंचेन्द्रियों की ५३।। लाख कुल कोटियों में परिभ्रमण करता हुआ पश्चात् पंचेन्द्रिय तिर्यंच मरकर फिर चतुरिन्द्रिय आदि तिर्यंचों में भी उत्पन्न हो सकता है। अतएव आगे चतुरिन्द्रिय आदि तिर्यंचों के दुःखों का भी वर्णन किया जायेगा।
Elaboration-The miseries of five sensed animals have been mentiioned in the preceding aphorism. In this aphorism two causes of rebirth of infernal beings as animals have been stated. First is the residual karmas and the second is excessive acquisition of karmas due to intense stupor, attachment and aversion. When the accumulated karmas are excessive and they outlive the life span, the soul has to be reborn in
nimal genes to suffer the fruits. Leaving the hells, the infernal beings first of all reincarnate as five sensed animals, Passing through the 5.35 million species of five sensed animals a soul can also take rebirth as four or lesser sensed beings. ३७. भमर-मसग-मच्छिमाइएसु य जाइकुलकोडि-सयसहस्सेहिं णवहिं चउरिदियाणं तहिं तर्हि चेव जम्मणमरणाणि अणुहवंता कालं संखिज्जं भमंति णेरइयसमाणतिव्वदुक्खा फरिसरसण-घाण-चक्खुसहिया।
३७. चार इन्द्रियों वाले भ्रमर, मशक-मच्छर, मक्खी आदि पर्यायों में, उनकी नौ लाख जातिकुलकोटियों में बारंबार जन्म-मरण (के दुःखों) का अनुभव करते हुए, नारकों के समान तीव्र दुःख भोगते हुए (१) स्पर्शन, (२) रसना, (३) घ्राण, और (४) चक्षु से युक्त होकर वे पापी जीव संख्यात काल तक भ्रमण करते रहते हैं।
37. There are 0.9 million kulakotis (different types in families of insects) of four-sensed creatures namely moth, mosquitoes, flies and others. In this condition they suffer badly the pangs of death and rebirth like hellish beings. They have four senses namely sense of touch, sense of taste, sense of smell and sense of sight and in this state they suffer for a period of numerable years passing from one state of foursensed creature to another state of four-sensed living beings.
विवेचन : चतुरिन्द्रिय जीवों को पूर्वोक्त चार इन्द्रियाँ प्राप्त होती हैं। इन चारों इन्द्रियों के माध्यम से उन्हें विविध प्रकार की पीड़ाएँ भोगनी पड़ती हैं। भ्रमर, मच्छर, मक्खी आदि जीव चार इन्द्रियों वाले हैं।
