६. मणुस्सजाति आसीविसस्स वि एवं चेव, नवरं समयखेत्तप्पमाणमेत्तं बोंदिं विसेणं विसपरिगयं ० । सेसं तं नो चेव जाव करिस्संति वा ४ ।
६. इसी प्रकार मनुष्यजाति- आशीविष के सम्बन्ध में भी जानना चाहिए । विशेष इतना ही है कि वह समयक्षेत्र (मनुष्यक्षेत्र = ढाई द्वीप) प्रमाण शरीर को विष से विदलित एवं व्याप्त कर सकता है, किन्तु यह उसका सामर्थ्य मात्र है, सम्प्राप्ति द्वारा कभी ऐसा किया नहीं, करता नहीं और करेगा भी नहीं ।
6. The same is also true for a man of venomous breed (jaati-ashivish manushya). The only difference is that it can harm bodies living in the whole area of Samaya Kshetra (forty five hundred thousand Yojans). Its venom is as strong as that but it did not, does not and will not ever employ all that strength.
७. [ प्र. ] जइ कम्मआसीविसे किं नेरइयकम्मासीविसे, तिरिक्खजोणियकम्मासीविसे, मणुस्तकम्मासीविसे, देवकम्मासीविसे ?
[ उ. ] गोयमा ! नो नेरइयकम्मासीविसे, तिरिक्खजोणियकम्मासीविसे वि, मणुस्सकम्मासीविसे वि, देवकम्मासीविसे वि।
७. [ प्र. ] भगवन् ! यदि कर्म-आशीविष है तो क्या वह नैरयिक-कर्म- आशीविष है या तिर्यञ्चयोनिक-कर्म-आशीविष है या मनुष्य-कर्म- आशीविष है या देव-कर्म - आशीविष है ?
[.] गौतम ! नैरयिक- कर्म - आशीविष नहीं, किन्तु तिर्यञ्चयोनिक-कर्म - आशीविष है, मनुष्य-कर्म- आशीविष है और देव-कर्म-आशीविष है।
7. [Q.] Bhante ! If there are karma-ashivish (poisonous by action), are they nairayik-karma-ashivish (poisonous by action among infernal beings), tiryanch-yonik-karma-ashivish (poisonous by action among animals), manushya-karma-ashivish (poisonous by action among 5 humans) or dev-karma-ashivish (poisonous by action among divine 5 beings) ?

[Ans.] Gautam ! There are no nairayik-karma-ashivish (poisonous by action among infernal beings), but only tiryanch-yonik-karma-ashivish (poisonous by action among animals), manushya-karma-ashivish 5 (poisonous by action among humans) and dev-karma-ashivish (poisonous by action among divine beings).
