४३. [प्र. ] पुढविक्काइयएगिदिय० पुच्छा।
[उ. ] गोयमा ! सव्वबंधंतरं जहेव एगिंदियस्स तहेव भाणियव्वं; देसबंधंतरं जहन्नेणं एक्कं समयं, ॐ उक्कोसेणं तिण्णि समया।
४३. [प्र. ] भगवन् ! पृथ्वीकायिक-एकेन्द्रिय औदारिकशरीर-बन्ध का अन्तर कितने काल 卐 का है?
[उ. ] गौतम ! इसके सर्वबन्ध का अन्तर जिस प्रकार एकेन्द्रिय का कहा गया है, उसी प्रकार ॐ कहना चाहिए। देशबन्ध का अन्तर जघन्यतः एक समय और उत्कृष्टतः तीन समय का है।
43. (Q.) What is the intervening period between one bondage and the * next in case of the Prithvikaayik-ekendriya-audarik-sharira-prayoga
bandh (bondage related to earth-bodied one-sensed gross physical body formation)?
(Ans.] Gautam ! Repeat what has been said about one-sensed beings 45 (ekendriya) for the bondage of the whole (sarva-bandh). This intervening
period for the bondage of a part (desh-bandh) is a minimum of one Samaya and a maximum of three Samayas.
४४. जहा पुढविक्काइयाणं एवं जाव चउरिंदियाणं वाउक्काइयवज्जाणं, नवरं सव्वबंधंतरं उक्कोसेणं मजा जस्स ठिती सा समयाहिया कायव्या। वाउक्काइयाणं सव्वबंधंतरं जहन्नेणं खुड्डागभवग्गहणं तिसमयूणं, उक्कोसेणं तिण्णि वाससहस्साई समयाहियाई। देसबंधंतरं जहन्नेणं एक्कं समयं, उक्कोसेणं अंतोमुहुत्तं।।
४४. जिस प्रकार पथ्वीकायिक जीवों का शरीरबन्धान्तर कहा गया है, उसी प्रकार वायुकायिक जीवों को छोड़कर चतुरिन्द्रिय तक सभी जीवों का शरीरबन्धान्तर कहना चाहिए; किन्तु विशेषतः उत्कृष्ट सर्वबन्धान्तर जिस जीव की जितनी (आयुष्य) स्थिति हो, उससे एक समय अधिक कहना चाहिए। (अर्थात्-सर्वबन्ध का अन्तर समयाधिक आयुष्यस्थिति-प्रमाण जानना चाहिए।) वायुकायिक जीवों के : सर्वबन्ध का अन्तर जघन्यतः तीन समय कम क्षुल्लकभव-ग्रहण और उत्कृष्टतः समयाधिक तीन हजार वर्ष का है। इनके देशबन्ध का अन्तर जघन्य एक समय का और उत्कृष्ट अन्तर्मुहूर्त का है।
44. What has been said about the intervening period between one bondage and the next in case of earth-bodied beings should be repeated for all beings up to four-sensed beings leaving aside the air-bodied beings (vayukaayik jivas). The only difference is that the maximum intervening period of the bondage of the whole (sarva-bandh) is one Samaya more than the genus specific maximum life-span of these beings. The
