४१. [प्र. ] ओरालियसरीरबंधंतरं णं भंते ! कालओ केवच्चिरं होइ।
[उ. ] गोयमा ! सबबंधंतरं जहन्नेणं खुड्डागं भवग्गहणं तिसमयूणं, उक्कोसेणं तेत्तीसं सागरोवमाइं में पुब्बकोडिसमयाहियाई। देसबंधंतरं जहन्नेणं एक्कं समयं, उक्कोसेणं तेत्तीसं सागरोवमाइं तिसमयाहियाई।
४१. [प्र. ] भगवन् ! औदारिक शरीर के बन्ध का अन्तर कितने काल का होता है ? ॐ [उ. ] गौतम ! इसके सर्वबन्ध का अन्तर जघन्यतः तीन समय कम क्षुल्लकभव-ग्रहणपर्यन्त है और ॥ + उत्कृष्टतः समयाधिक पूर्वकोटि तथा तेतीस सागरोपम है। देशबन्ध का अन्तर जघन्यतः एक समय और # उत्कृष्टतः तीन समय अधिक तेतीस सागरोपम है।
41. (Q.) Bhante ! What is the intervening period between one bondage and the next in case of the gross physical body (audarik sharira)?
[Ans.) Gautam ! This intervening period for the bondage of the whole (sarva-bandh) is a minimum of three Samaya more than Kshullak- 45 4 bhava-grahan (time taken in taking rebirths of shortest life-span specific 4
to the body-type) and a maximum of one Şamaya more than Purvakoti (a 1 unit of time) and thirty three Sagaropam (a metaphoric unit of time). This intervening period for the bondage of a part (desh-bandh) is a minimum of one Samaya and a maximum of three Samaya more than thirty-three Sagaropam.
४२. [प्र. ] एगिदियओरालिय० पुच्छा। म [उ. ] गोयमा ! सव्वबंधंतरं जहन्नेणं खुड्डागं भवग्गहणं तिसमयूणं, उक्कोसेणं बावीसं वाससहस्साई समयाहियाई। देसबंधंतरं जहन्नेणं एक्कं समयं, उक्कोसेणं अंतोमुहुत्तं।
४२. [प्र. ] भगवन् ! एकेन्द्रिय-औदारिकशरीर-बन्ध का अन्तर कितने काल का है ?
[उ. ] गौतम ! इसके सर्वबन्ध का अन्तर जघन्यतः तीन समय कम क्षुल्लकभव-ग्रहणपर्यन्त है और 卐 उत्कृष्टतः एक समय अधिक बाईस हजार वर्ष है। देशबन्ध का अन्तर जघन्य एक समय का और उत्कृष्ट 卐
अन्तर्मुहूर्त का है।
42. (Q.) What is the intervening period between one bondage and the next in case of the Ekendriya-audarik-sharira-prayoga-bandh (bondage related to one-sensed gross physical body formation)?
[Ans.] Gautam ! This intervening period for the bondage of the whole (sarva-bandh) is a minimum of three Samaya less than Kshullak-bhavagrahan (time taken in taking rebirths of shortest life-span specific to the body-type) and a maximum of one Samaya more than twenty two thousand years. This intervening period for the bondage of a part (desh
bandh) is a minimum of one Samaya and a maximum of one ! Antarmuhurt (less than 48 minutes).
