आकाश में बजती हुई दुन्दुभि सुनाई देती है; पुलकित होकर लोक प्रणाम करता है। उनके अर्थ- पात्र को देश-देश के राजा उठाते हैं, प्रचुर कुसुम-गन्ध से मिली हुई हवा बहती है। नवसूर्य मण्डल के समान आभावाला भामण्डल तथा अनेक प्रकार के साधु साथ चलते हैं। पूर्वांग को धारण करनेवाला, तप से कुश शरीर, मन:पर्यय ज्ञानवाला, स्वभाव से धीर, देशावधि और परमावधि ज्ञान से युक्त केवली, केवलज्ञानरूपी सूर्य से तेजस्वी, नवदीक्षित, शिक्षक, शान्त और दंत (जितेन्द्रिय) विक्रियाऋद्धि से बहु-ऋद्धियों से सम्पन्न । इन्द्रियों के नाशक अक्षयपद में इच्छा रखनेवाला और कैतव आगमवादियों में सिंह। वे जहाँ जाते हैं वहाँ भव्य चलते हैं, वे जहाँ हैं वहाँ सब रहते हैं। मानव, तिर्यंच, असंख्य सुरवर तथा चारों दिशाओं में शंखों की हूँ हूँ ध्वनि होने लगी। झालरें झं झं ध्वनि करती हैं, नर और अमरों की सुन्दरियाँ नृत्य करती हैं। तुम्बुर और नारद मीठा गान करते हैं। भरत पिता जिन को वहाँ बैठे हुए देखा।
बत्ता - महीश्वर भरत ने धर्म पूछा। निष्कलुष परम केवली परमपद में स्थित वे, जो जैसा देखते हैं उसको उसी प्रकार से कहते हैं ॥ १४ ॥

गुण, मोक्ष, तप और पुद्गल भी दो प्रकार का है। अरहन्त निर्जरा को भी दो प्रकार का बताते हैं। भुवन तीन हैं, रत्न तीन हैं, शल्य तीन हैं, गुप्तियाँ भी तीन हैं, जीव की गतियाँ भी तीन कही गयी हैं। जग को घेरनेवाले गर्व भी तीन हैं, गुरुव्रत तीन हैं, जग में भोग भी तीन हैं, समय को नष्ट करनेवालों ने काल भी तीन प्रकार का कहा है। चार गतियाँ, चार प्रकार का संसार का संचरण बालादि चार प्रकार का मरण भी कहा गया है। प्रमाण चार प्रकार का है, दान चार प्रकार का है; दिखाई देनेवाला द्रव्य (पुद्गल) भी चार (गुणवाला) है, चार ध्यान हैं, देवों के निकाय चार हैं, चार-चार प्रकार की चार-चार कषायें हैं। बन्ध चार प्रकार का है, उनका नाश चार प्रकार का है, गुणगण की निवास विनय भी चार प्रकार की है।
