जिस पर चंचल भ्रमर समूह आ-जा रहा था, जो चरणों से चाँपनेवाला और धरती को झुकानेवाला था। जिसने और छूता है, शरीर की रक्षा करता है और फिर मिलने के लिए करता है, फिर पास पहुँचता है, चारों ओर अपनी धवलता से आकाश को धवलित कर दिया था। जिसने अपने बल से ऐरावत हाथी को कुद्ध कर दिया है, घूमता है। श्वेत दाँतोंवाला वह हाथी अनेक रत्नों के आभूषणवाले कामिनीजन का अनुकरण करता है। वह जो शीतल मदजल बिन्दु से दिशामुख को सींच रहा है, जिसने अपने चार दाँतों से जंगल को उजाड़ दिया है। जो चंचल श्रीपाल उसके चारों पैरों के नीचे से जाता है। हकलाता और हुंकारता है और निकल आता है, उसे पंचदन्त ऊँचे शरीरवाला है, रक्षकों से त्रस्त जो परिधान से शोभित है, जिसके लम्बे चंचल कान पल्लव के समान लांघता है, कुम्भस्थल पर बैठता है, पूँछ, सूंड और वक्षस्थल प्राप्त करता है। वह हाथी को दसों दिशाओं हैं, लम्बी पूंछवाला, महाशब्द करता हुआ, लाल तालुवाला, लाल-मुख, नखवाला, कैलास पर्वत की तरह चमकता में घुमाता है। वह स्वामी ऐसा मालूम होता है, मानो मेघों में विद्युत्-पुंज हो। अपने गम्भीर स्वर से उसके हुआ स्वच्छ कान्तिवाला, लक्ष्मी से रमण करनेवाला श्रीपाल दौड़ा। उसने जंगल में भद्र नामक हाथी को देखा। भयंकर स्वर को पराजित करता और क्रीड़ा करता हुआ उसकी सैंड को अपने हाथ से पकड़ लेता है। जिसका
