पाँच प्रकार का दुख पापों के समूह से गृहीत नारकीयों को होता है। वहाँ न नारी है, न पुरुष हैं, और न सुन्दर शरीरावयव है, नंगा, निन्दनीय और अशेष नपुंसक। प्रथम भूमि में नारकीय का शरीर सात धनुष तीन हाथ और छह अंगुल का होता है। दूसरी भूमि में पन्द्रह धनुष छह हाथ और बारह अंगुल होता है।
घत्ता-अरतिजनक युद्ध में जन्म को धारण करनेवाली देह से प्रहार करते हुए विक्रिया के द्वारा नारकीय का शरीर भारी हो जाता है ॥१८॥
से अजेय पहले नरक में एक सागर प्रमाण आयु होती है, दूसरे में तीन सागर, तीसरे नरक में सात सागर, चौथे नरक में दस सागर, पाँचवें नरक में सत्तरह सागर, छठे नरक में बाईस सागर प्रमाण रहते हैं और सातवें नरक में तैंतीस सागर प्रमाण आय होती है।

तीसरी भूमि में इकतीस धनुष एक हाथ और दो अंगुल ऊँचा शरीर होता है । चौथी भूमि में बासठ धनुष वे नारकीय उस असुन्दर धर्मा धरती में जघन्य आयु से दस हजार वर्ष जीवित रहते हैं। जो धर्माभूमि और दो हाथ ऊँचा। पाँचवीं भूमि में एक सौ पच्चीस धनुष ऊँचा शरीर होता है। इस प्रकार शरीर बढ़ता जाता को उत्तम आयु है वह सुखों के आशयों को नष्ट करनेवाली वंशाभूमि की जघन्य आयु है। जो वंशाभूमि की है और आपत्ति भी भीषण होती जाती है। छठी भूमि में जिनेन्द्र भगवान् के द्वारा कथित दो सौ पचास धनुष उत्तम आयु है वह रौरव ध्वनियों से युक्त मेघा की जघन्य आयु है। जो मेघा की उत्तम आयु बतायी गयी
