मोक्षमार्ग की सम्भावना कर अप्रमत्त गुणस्थान में लगते हैं (आरोहण करते हैं, वहाँ जैसे ही दस प्रकृतियों से मुक्त होते हैं, वैसे ही वे एक क्षण में आठवें अपूर्वकरण गुणस्थान में आरूढ़ हो गये। वह पहले शुक्लध्यान में लीन हो गये, वितर्कविचार लक्षण और श्रुतज्ञान से सहित उसमें लीन मुनि ऋषभ ने सविभक्त अनिष्ट छत्तीस प्रकृतियाँ जीत लीं। फिर सूक्ष्म साम्पराय (१०वाँ गुणस्थान को प्राप्त कर) और उसके ध्यान से लोभ को समाप्त कर, वह 'उपशान्त कषाय' हो गये। कतकफल जैसे जल में होता है, उसी प्रकार वह हो गये। फिर वह क्षीण कषाय गुणस्थान में स्थित हो गये और दूसरे शुक्लध्यान में अवतीर्ण हुए। सोलह प्रकार की प्रकृतियों के रज का नाश करनेवाले शुक्लध्यान का एकत्व वितर्क भेद ।
घत्ता - त्रेसठ प्रकृतियों के नाश होने पर मनरहित परमात्मा के स्वभाववाले अनिन्द्य और ज्ञानस्वरूप हो गये ।। १५ ।।
