महापुराणे उत्तरपुराणम् वीर्येण सूर्यविजयीत्थमनन्तवीर्यो धुर्योऽभवद् भुवि स शौर्यपरेषु शूरः ॥ ५११ ॥
शार्दूलविक्रीडितम् नित्यालोचितमन्त्रशक्त्यनुगतः स्फूर्जप्रतापानल--
ज्वालाभस्मितवैरिवंशगहनस्त्वं चक्रिणामग्रणीः। यस्त्वां कोपयति क्षणादरिरसौ कालज्वलज्ज्वालिना लीढो लियत एव लक्ष्यत इति स्तुत्यस्तदा वन्दिभिः ॥ ५१२॥
- मालिनीच्छन्दः गतघनरिपुरोधः स्वाग्रजोद्दिष्टमार्गः
समुपगतविशुद्धिः काललब्ध्या स वक्री। रविरिव निजदीप्त्या व्याप्तदिकचक्रवाल:
शरदमिव पुरीं स्वामध्युवासोग्रतेजाः ॥ ५१३ ॥ इत्याचे भगवद्गुणभद्राचार्यप्रणीते त्रिषष्टिलक्षणमहापुराणसंग्रहे अपराजितानन्तवीर्याभ्युदयवर्णन

को दमन करने वाले दमितारिको जिसने युद्धमें उसीके चक्रसे मारकर उससे तीन खण्डका राज्य प्राप्त किया, जो अपने वीर्यसे सूर्यको जीतता था तथा शूरवीरोंमें अत्यन्त शूर था ऐसा श्रानन्तवीर्य पृथिवी में सर्व श्रेष्ठ था ॥ ५११॥ वन्दी जन उस अनन्तवीर्य नारायणकी उस समय इस प्रकार स्तुति करते थे कि तू निरन्तर आलोचना की हुई मन्त्रशक्तिके अनुसार चलता है, देदीप्यमान प्रतापानिकी ज्वालाओंसे तूने शत्रुओंके वंश रूपी बांसोंके वनको भस्म कर डाला है, तू सब नारायणोंमें श्रेष्ठ नारायण है; जो शत्रु तुझे कुपित करता है वह क्षणभरमें यमराजकी जलती हुई ज्वालाओंसे आलीढव्याप्त हुआ दिखाई देता है ।। ५.१२ ।। जिसके शत्र रूपी बादलोंका उपरोध नष्ट हो गया है जो सदा अपने बड़े भाईके बतलाये हुए मार्गपर चलता है, काललब्धिसे जिसे विशुद्धता प्राप्त हुई है, जिसने अपनी दीप्तिसे समस्त दिङमण्डलको व्याप्त कर लिया है और जिसका तेज अत्यन्त उग्र है। ऐसा वह नारायण अपनी नगरीमें उस प्रकार निवास करता था जिस प्रकार कि सूर्य शरदऋतु में निवास करता है ।। ५१३ ॥ इस प्रकार आर्षनामसे प्रसिद्ध, भगवद्गुणभद्राचार्य प्रणीत, त्रिषष्टिलक्षण महापुराण संग्रहमें अपराजित बलभद्र और अनन्तवीर्य नारायणके अभ्युदयका वर्णन करने वाला
बासठवां पर्व समाप्त हुआ।

Anantavirya, who conquered the sun with his might, was the most valiant among the valiant, and he was the best on earth. (511)

He, who always followed the power of the mantras, played like a lion, and with the flames of his blazing glory, he burnt down the forests of his enemies' lineage. He is the foremost among all the Narayanas. The enemy who provokes him is instantly consumed by the burning flames of Yama, and is seen to be enveloped in them. (512)

He, whose path is always guided by his elder brother, whose enemies' clouds have been destroyed, who has attained purity through the grace of time, and whose brilliance has filled the entire universe, resides in his city like the sun in autumn, with his fierce radiance. (513)
