## Chapter Sixty-Four
**473** On that night, Talavara, having gone to her house, said to her, "I am going out today." Hearing this, she replied, "The minister's son will come at this time." Seeing him, she hid Sarvarakshit in a chest and said to Prithudhi, "Bring the ornaments you gave to my sister Satyavati." He initially agreed, saying, "I will bring them now." But later, hearing about her taking the vow of chastity, he became envious and hostile. The next day, she went to the king with the chest containing Sarvarakshit as a witness and demanded her money from Prithudhi.
**300-308** Prithudhi lied to the king, saying, "I did not take her money." When the king asked Satyavati, she brought all the money and placed it before the king.
**309** Seeing this, the king became very angry with his brother-in-law and ordered his servants to kill this wicked man immediately. This is right, for it is fitting for those who follow the path of justice.
**310** One day, while reading the Dharma Shastra from the Muni-indra, the king's chief elephant remembered his previous birth. He became very peaceful and stopped taking meat. Seeing this, the wise Seth, understanding the elephant's intentions, gave him rice mixed with ghee, jaggery, and milk to eat. The elephant also ate this pure food.
**311-313** At that time, the king, pleased, said to him, "Ask for whatever you desire." The Seth said, "Keep this boon with you for now, I will take it later." Saying this, the Seth lived happily.
**314** At that time, the minister's son was being taken away to be killed. Seeing this, the Seth was very saddened and asked the king for his previously granted boon, saving the wicked minister's son from death.
