The sound of the drum, along with the sound of the warriors dancing in every camp, is harsh due to the clash of their arms, terrifying due to the loud ringing of the bells on the necks of the elephants, fierce due to the neighing of the horses that overpower the roar of the lions, full of the harsh sound of the hooves of the galloping horses, terrifying due to the heavy sound of the earth caused by the trampling of the infantry, terrifying due to the loud cries of the moving chariots, harsh due to the sound of the string being drawn for the bow, echoing through the walls of the directions, and terrifying due to all kinds of drums, the great noise of the army arose, as if to devour time. 73-77
