## Chapter 244: The Great Purana
These actions are described as three types in the Shravakaadhyaya Sangraha. They should be performed by those with right vision, as they are auspicious and lead to great benefits. ||50||
There are the actions related to birth, the actions related to initiation, and the actions related to karma. These are the three types of actions recognized by the wise. ||51||
There are fifty-three actions related to birth, starting with Aadhān and ending with Tiryapa. There are forty-eight actions related to initiation. ||52||
There are seven actions related to karma, which are grouped together. Their names are listed here in order. ||53||
From the seventh anga (Upasakaadhyayanaanga), which is as difficult to cross as the ocean, I have obtained a portion of knowledge, which I will reveal in eight verses. ||54||
The actions related to birth are: 1. Aadhān, 2. Preeti, 3. Supreeti, 4. Dhriti, 5. Mod, 6. Priyodbhava, 7. Naamakarma, 8. Bahini, 9. Nishadya, 10. Praashan, 11. Vyushti, 12. Keshavaapa, 13. Lipi Sankhyaanasangraha, 14. Upaneeti, 15. Vratacharya, 16. Vrataavtarana, 17. Vivaah, 18. Varnalabha, 19. Kulcharya, 20. Griheeshita, 21. Prashaanti, 22. Grihatyaag, 23. Deekshaadyam, 24. Jinaroopata, 25. Moonaadhyayanavruttatva, 26. Teerthakritbhaavana, 27. GuruSthaanaabhyupagamo, 28. Ganopgrahana, 29. SwaguruSthaanasankranti, 30. Nissangaatmaabhaavana, 31. Yoginirvaanasamprpti, 32. Yoginirvaanasadhana, 33. Indroppapada, 34. Abhisheka, 35. Vidhidaan, 36. Sukhodaya, 37. Indratyaag, 38. Avtaar, 39. Hiranyotkrushtjanmata, 40. Mandarendraabhisheka, 41. Gurupujopalambhana, 42. Yauvarajya, 43. Swarajya, 44. Chakraalabha, 45. Digvijaya, 46. Chakraabhisheka, 47. Samaajya, 48. Nishkranti, 49. Yogasammaha, 50. Aarhantyam, 51. Tadvihaar, 52. Yogatyaag, and 53. Ananirvruti. ||55-63||
These fifty-three actions are considered to be from birth to Nirvana in the Paramaagama. ||63||
The actions related to initiation are: 1. Avtaar, 2. Vruttalabha, 3. Sthaanalabha, 4. Ganagraha, 5. Poojaraadhya, 6. Punyayajna, 7. Dridhacharya, and 8. Upayogita. ||64||
