201. The horsemen, whose swords were sharp, were like embodiments of their valor, their swords seeming to be attached to their arms. ||11||
The archers, with their quivers full of arrows, were like great trees of the forest, adorned with branches, with birds nesting in their hollows. ||12||
The charioteers, with their chariots laden with weapons fit for battle, were like sailors setting out to cross the sea of war. ||13||
The soldiers, with their helmets and armor, and their sharp swords raised high, were marching in front of the elephants, protecting their feet. ||14||
The soldiers, with their shining weapons and iron armor, were like blazing meteors, accompanied by dark clouds, heralding a storm. ||15||
Another soldier, holding a sharp-edged sword in his hand, looked at its reflection in his face, and realized his own valor. ||16||
Another soldier, weighing the sword in his hand, was adorned as if he were weighing the honor and respect of his master. ||17||
The armies of the kings, adorned with great crowns, were marching forth, accompanied by infantry, elephants, cavalry, and chariots. ||18||
Those kings, adorned with crowns studded with gems, were like the portions of the guardians of the world, descended upon the earth. ||19||
Many kings, surrounding King Bharat, were marching forth, displaying their armies and equipment in an orderly manner. ||20||
