Having delved deep into the third anga, the *Sthana-adhyayana*, which is as profound as the ocean with its hundreds of chapters, they quickly understood the distinctions of the jewels of truth. ||137||
Those princes, possessing appropriate intellect, studied the fourth anga, *Samavaya*, thoroughly and thus understood the aggregates of substances and so on. ||138||
Having diligently studied the fifth anga, *Vyakhya-prajnapti*, those valiant princes understood various questions and answers. ||139||
Knowing the sixth anga, *Dharma-katha*, and understanding it well, they explained the Dharma-katha, as spoken by the great sage, to the ignorant without any error. ||140||
Having studied the seventh anga, *Upasaka-adhyayana*, which is highly excellent, they taught the entire conduct of the Shravakas to the listeners. ||141||
From the tenth anga, *Antah-krita*, they learned about the ten *Antah-krita* munis who, having conquered unbearable afflictions in the tirtha of each Tirthankara, attained liberation. ||142||
Those princes, who were the best among knowers, learned from the ninth anga, *Anuttar-vimaan-upapadik*, about the ten munis who, having conquered unbearable afflictions in the tirtha of each Tirthankara, were born in the *Anuttar* vimanas. ||143||
Those steadfast munis, having understood the questions from the tenth anga, *Prashna-vyakarana*, began to describe the happiness, sorrow, and so on of living beings. ||144||
Those munis, having known the nature of all good and bad karmas from the eleventh anga, *Vipaka-sutra*, were eager to destroy karmas, and they practiced intense austerities without any laziness. ||145||
Those princes, having known the distinctions of all *drishtis* from the twelfth anga, *Drishti-vada*, attained supreme devotion and embraced the highest *sanvega* in Jain scriptures. ||146||
Those munis, who had ascertained the secrets of all *shruta* knowledge within that twelfth anga, studied the fourteen *maha-vidya* places, i.e., the fourteen *purvas*, in order. ||147||
