The 34th Chapter
Thus, the Chakravarti, whose intellect is never deluded in the knowledge and execution of work, sent forth his messengers with their purpose fulfilled. ||86-89|| Having gone as instructed, they saw their brothers and delivered the Chakravarti's message to them as it was. ||90|| Then, those brothers, who had become hardened by the pride of their acquired power, gathered together and said to the messengers, ||91|| "What the Adiraja Bharat has said is true and acceptable to us, for in the absence of the father, the elder brother is to be revered by the younger brothers." ||92|| "But our father, the all-seeing and all-knowing, is present before us. He is our authority, and this power of ours is his gift." ||93|| "Therefore, in this matter, we are subject to the command of our father's lotus feet, and we are not independent. We have nothing to take or give from or to Bharateshwar in this world." ||94|| "And we are very pleased and delighted by the invitation that the Chakravarti has given us to share in his kingdom." ||95|| Thus, honoring the messengers with royal honors, and giving gifts for Bharat, and writing letters in return, the princes immediately sent them away. ||96|| Thus, those princes, who had honored the messengers and given a suitable reply to Bharat, went to their father to deliver the task entrusted to them by him. ||97|| Those princes, who possessed limited and appropriate resources, went to see their revered father, Lord Rishabhadeva, who resides on the peak of Kailasa, as high as a great mountain. ||98|| The princes bowed down to him in accordance with the rules, worshipped him as prescribed, and then spoke these words to the Lord, who destroys Kamadeva: ||99|| "O Lord, we have been born from you, we have obtained this excellent fortune from you, and we still desire your pleasure. We worship none other than you." ||100||
