The Mahapurana, adorned with three rows of trees and four majestic gateways, is a treasure trove of auspicious substances, wealth, and toranas. Two grand theaters, two radiant incense burners, and a grove of trees surrounding a caitya tree, all add to its splendor. Two forest altars, adorned with lofty banners, a forest of wish-fulfilling trees, and a row of stupas and houses, all contribute to the magnificence of this assembly ground. This assembly ground, which purifies humans, gods, and demigods, seems to be a collection of the best things from all three worlds. O Jinendra, this extraordinary external splendor, which reveals your great prosperity, clearly manifests your inner Lakshmi. O Lord, this assembly ground, created by the gods, cannot diminish your extraordinary detachment, for it is beyond all argument. This assembly ground, with its unparalleled splendor, does not arouse any attachment in your heart. O you, whose glory is wondrous, who are the lord of the three worlds, and whose rule is supremely pure, purify me, who is offering you praise. O Lord, it is pointless to elaborate on your praise, for your qualities are beyond comprehension. Therefore, I offer you this brief praise: O Lord, victory to you, and salutations to you. Victory to you, O Lord, who burns the fuel of karma. Victory to you, O Lord, who are free from decay. Victory to you, O Lord, the teacher of the worlds. Victory to you, O Lord, who benefits all. Victory to you, O Lord, who are victorious. Victory to you, O Lord, the master of infinite Lakshmi. Victory to you, O Lord, who are radiant with infinite qualities. Victory to you, O Lord, the friend of the entire universe. Victory to you, O Lord, who benefits the entire universe. Victory to you, O Lord, who knows the entire universe. Victory to you, O Lord, who brings happiness to all. Victory to you, O Lord, who is the best in the entire universe. Victory to you, O Lord, the teacher of the entire universe. Victory to you, O Lord, who has conquered the enemy of delusion. Victory to you, O Lord, who has condemned Kamadeva. Victory to you, O Lord, who has conquered birth, old age, and death. Victory to you, O Lord, who has conquered Yama.
