Thirty-first Chapter
Know those who dwell in the **Vata-sthana**, **Vata-sthana**, **Kuta-sthana**, **Koterot-jata**, **Asapata**, and **Kshapata** as all-pervading. || 113 ||
Thus, with reverence, the peaceful and powerful words were spoken. The immortal one gave him fourteen ornaments. || 114 ||
Having obtained those ornaments, which were not available to anyone else, the Chakravarti attained supreme joy. The god also felt great joy from the honors bestowed upon him by the Chakravarti. || 115 ||
Then, the Chakravarti, having instructed the god who had shown him the way to enter the cave of the Vijayardha mountain, sent his commander-in-chief ahead to open the cave door. || 116 ||
The Chakravarti said to his commander-in-chief, "Open the cave door and conquer the western region until the cave is quiet." || 117 ||
Thus, carrying the Chakravarti's command like a garland on his head, and knowing the use of all the methods taught by the Kritamala god, the clever commander-in-chief, with some horses and soldiers, mounted on the **Vajirathna** with the **Danda-ratna** in his hand, set out. || 118-119 ||
After traveling a short distance, he crossed the **Vana-vedika** of the Sindhu river and reached the **Tata-vedika** of the Vijayardha mountain. || 120 ||
Then, the commander-in-chief, ascending the **Rupya-adri** by the steps, reached the top of the mountain and stood facing west, near the cave. || 121 ||
Sitting on the **Ashva-ratna**, the commander-in-chief, shouting "Victory to the Chakravarti!", struck the cave door with the **Danda-ratna**, producing a loud sound. || 122 ||
As the cave door opened due to the impact of the **Danda-ratna**, intense heat emerged from within the cave. || 123 ||
The two doors, bearing the sound of the **Danda-ratna**'s strike, seemed to be sweating with pain. || 124 ||
