आतुरप्रत्याख्यानप्रकीर्णकम्
तुम्हारो कह्यो उपदेश त्रिविधइ मनोवचनकायाई करी सद्दहुं छउं । उपदेश केहवो छइ जिणदिट्ठ केवलीदृष्ट । वली केहवो छइ - त्रस स्थावर प्राणीनइं क्षेमनो करन्हारो । कल्याणकारी वली केहवो छइ- निव्वाणमार्ग मोक्षमार्गनो पार तीर छइ । मोक्षदातार गाथार्थ: ।।५८ ।।

અર્થ : ગુરુના હિતોપદેશને સાંભળી ક્ષપક (શ્રમણ) કહે છે કે, “જિનેશ્વર ભગવંતે ઉપદેશેલા આ સર્વ હિતોપદેશની હું શ્રદ્ધા કરું છું. મન-વચન-કાયાથી હું તેનો સ્વીકાર કરું છું. કારણ કે, આ હિતોપદેશ ત્રસ અને સ્થાવર જીવોનું કલ્યાણ કરનારો છે અને મોક્ષમાર્ગનો પાર પમાડનાર છે. (૫૮)
न हु तम्मि देसकाले सक्को बारसविहो सुयक्खंधो । सव्वो अणुचिंतेउं धणियं पि समत्थचित्तेणं ।। ५९ ।।
बाला० पूर्वइ जे जीव गुण सहित करवोए एहवउं कहयउं । ते तउ श्रुतचिंतन थकी ज हुइ । अनइ ते श्रुत केतलू एक चींतविवउं ते श्रुत चिंतनना कहइ छेइ । गाथा न हुं तंमि दे० एमिवि० युग्म ते छेहलइ कालइ संधि बंधन श्रथल थीतइ जीहवा बल खलाशइ हुंतइ, बारविध श्रुतस्कंध द्वादशांगरूप सघलउ चींतवी न सकीइं । घणियं क० अतिहिं समर्थ चित्त हुइ गाढउ शक्तिवंत हुइ तोहि पणि इति गाथार्थः । । ५९ ।।
અર્થ : અણસણનો સ્વીકાર કર્યા પછી મરણ ઉપસ્થિત થાય તે સમયે સમર્થ ચિત્તવાળો પણ સાધક સંપૂર્ણ દ્વાદશાંગીનું ચિંતન-સ્મરણ-પુનરાવર્તન કરવા માટે સમર્થ બની શકતો નથી. (૫૯) गम्मि वि जम्मि पए संवेगं वीयरायमग्गम्मि ।
गच्छइ नरो अभिक्खं तं मरणं तेण मरियव्वं । । ६० ।।
बाला० ते भणी ते अवसरनई विषइ जेणइ एकई पदई भण्यई हुंतई जीव वीतरागमार्गनई विषइ संवेग वैराग्य अभीक्ष्ण निरंतर पामइ । ते मरण वैराग्य संयुक्त तेणक० क० ते पद अणवीसारतइ मरवुं इति गाथा ।। ६० ।।
અર્થ : શાસ્ત્રના એક માત્ર જે પદના અભ્યાસ-ચિંતન-પરાવર્તનથી આત્મા વીતરાગ માર્ગમાં આગળ વધીને સંવેગને પ્રાપ્ત કરે તે પદ તે ગાથાના ચિંતન-પરાવર્તન કરતા કરતા મૃત્યુને स्वीरपुं भेजे. (50)

**Meaning:** Even a person with a strong mind, at the time of death, when the body is about to be abandoned, is not able to contemplate, remember, and repeat all the twelve categories of scriptures. (59)

**Meaning:** The person who progresses on the path of non-attachment through the contemplation and reflection of a single verse of scripture, attains detachment and fervor. That person, while contemplating and reflecting on that verse, meets death. (60)

**Meaning:** Even a single verse, when contemplated at the time of death, makes the person a seeker of liberation. (61)
