________________ परिशिष्टम्-१ बालवबोध-भावानुवादौ ३०९ का देवदुग्गई ? का अबोहि ? केणेव वुज्झई मरणं ? । केण अणंतमपारं संसारे हिंडई जीवो ? ।।३९।। बाला० हवइ शिष्य च्यारि प्रश्न पूछइ छइ । गाथा-कादेव० इत्यादि अर्थः १ - केही देवनीदुर्गति ?, तथा २ - केही दुर्लभबोधी ?, तथा ३ - केणइ प्रकारइ वारंवार मरणे पामइ ?, तथा ४-केणइ हेतइ अनंतपार संसार जीव हीडइ । इति गाथा ।।३९।। અર્થ : દેવદુર્ગતિ એટલે શું ? અબોધિ કોને કહેવાય ? શેના વડે મરણને વહન કરવા પડે ? જીવ કયા કારણે અનંતા સંસારમાં રખડે ? कंदप्पदेव-किब्बिस-अभिओगा आसुरी य सम्मीहा ।। ता देवदुग्गईओ मरणंमि विराहिए हुति ।।४०।। बाला० प्रथम प्रश्ननो उत्तर कहि छि । गाथा-कंदप्य. इत्यादि अर्थः कंदर्पक अटट्टाहासनं करन्हार देवता थाइ । जे साधु पाछिलि भवि जेहवा होइ ते देवता मांहि तेहवा ज धाइ । जल्लेसे मरइ इति वचनात्। तथा किब्विसिया क० ज्ञानवंत केवल्यादिकनी आशातनाई करी देवतामांहि ढेढपणइ उपना । एवं रूप देवदुर्गति ।।२।। अभिओगाक० पाछिला यतीना भवनइं विषइं मंत्र निमित्त प्रयुञ्जवइ करी मरीनई वतागारी (?) देवपणइ उपना । एवं रूप देवदुर्गति ।।३।। आसुरिया क० साधु-भवनइं विषई चंडक्रोध घणो करइ । पछइ मरीनइ पणि तेहवा ज देवता परमाधार्मिक प्रमुख मांहि उपना। एवंविध देवदुर्गति ।।४।। संमोहा क० संयत भवनइं विषइ उन्मार्ग घडवादिकइ करी मोक्षमार्ग थकी जीवनइं भ्रंश पमाडइ पछइ मरीनइ तथा विध देवमांहि उपना एवंविधा देवदुर्गति ।।५।। एतली देवदुर्गति मरणने अवसरे विराध्यइ हुतइ होइ । पछइ तिहांथी च्यव्या हुंता अनंत संसार भमइ इति गाथार्थ ।।४०।। અર્થ: કાન્દપિંક જાતિના દેવો, કિલ્બિષિક દેવો, આભિયોગિક દેવો, અસુરનીકાયના દેવો, સંમોહિક દેવો. દેવોની આ પાંચ અવસ્થા દુઃખરૂપ હોવાથી દુર્ગતિતુલ્ય છે. મરણની વિરાધના કરવાથી આવા દેવલોકમાં ઉત્પન્ન થવું પડે છે.
