Appendix-1 Child Understanding-Meaning Translation 305 A worldly being, knowing that it is a living being, experiences the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth, which is a series of sufferings. What is this series of sufferings? It is the suffering arising from the association with the objects of the world, such as children, spouses, etc., which is the origin of the tree of Yama, and its growth. This is the suffering that arises from the association of the living being. And it is the experience of growth. ________________ परिशिष्टम्-१ बालवबोध-भावानुवादौ ३०५ संसारिक प्राणी जाणवो एणइ जीवई संसारनई विषइ दुःख परंपरा जनमजरामरणमारादि दुःखसमूह पाम्या । केहवी दुःख परंपरा ? संयोगमूला क० नाम संबंधइ विषई पुत्रकलत्रादिकनी जे परंपरानइं एतलइ यमवृक्षनी उत्पत्ति तथा वृद्धिमूलथकी होइ तिम एणइ जीवइ संयोग थकी ज दुःखनी उत्पत्ति । तथा वृद्धि अनुभवी इत्यर्थः । तेणइं कारणइं सर्वसंयोगनो संबंध अभिलाष त्रिविधइं मनोवाक्कायई करी वोसिरावं छु इति गाथा ।।२८।। અર્થ ઃ આજ સુધી જીવે સંયોગથી સર્જાતી દુ:ખની પરંપરાઓ જ પ્રાપ્ત કરી છે. તેથી સંયોગથી સર્જાતા પદાર્થોના સંબંધોને મન-વચન-કાયાથી વોસિરાવું છું. (૨૮) मूलगुण उत्तरगुणे जे मे नाऽऽराहिया पमाएणं । तमहं सव्वं निंदे पडिक्कमे आगमिस्साणं ।।२९।। बाला० हवइ प्रमाद, प्रतिक्रमण कहइ छइ - गाथा - मूलगुण. इत्यादि अर्थः मूलगुण प्राणातिपात- वेरमणादिक । उत्तरगुण पिण्डविशुद्धयादिक । ए मूलोत्तर गुणमइ प्रमादई करी आराध्या न हुइं सम्यक् प्रकारि पाल्या न होई तेहुं समस्त अनाराधना निंदामि क० आत्मासाक्षिक मिथ्यादुःकृत देउं छउं । तथा आगमिष्यत्काल अनागत कालनइ विषइ थ्यान्हारी विराधना ते हुं पच्चक्टुं छु। जे माटइ अतीतकालनी निंदा, वर्तमानकालनूं संवर्ण [संवरण] अनागतकालनूं पच्चक्खाण शास्त्रनइं विषइ बोल्युं छइ इति गाथा ।।२९।। અર્થ : મૂલગુણ રૂપ મહાવ્રતની આરાધનામાં, ઉત્તરગુણરૂપ સમિતિ-ગુપ્તિની આરાધનામાં પ્રમાદને વશ થઈને મેં જે કાંઈ વિરાધના કરી હોય તે સર્વની હું નિંદા કરું છું અને ભવિષ્યમાં તેવી વિરાધના ન કરવાનું પચ્ચખાણ કરું છું. (૨૯) सत्त भए अट्ठ मए सन्ना चत्तारि गारवे तिन्नि । आसायण तेत्तीसं रागं दोसं च गरिहामि ।।३०।। बाला० अनेझं पणि जे पडिक्कमई ते कहइ छइ - गाथा सत्तभय. इत्यादि अर्थः सातभयना नाम १-इहलोकभय, २-परलोकभय, ३-आदानभय, ४-अकस्माद्भय, ५-जीविकाभय, ६-मरणभय, ७-अश्लाघाभय। हवइ आठ मदना नाम १-जातिमद, २-कुलमद, ३-बलमद, ४-रूपमद, ५-तपमद, ६-श्रुतमद, ७-लाभमद, ८-ऐश्वर्यमद । तथा च्यारि संज्ञा, त्रिणि गारव प्रगटार्थ। आशातना - तीर्थंकरादिकनी प्रतिक्रमण सूत्रोक्त जाणवी । अथवा गुरुनी तेत्रीस आशातना जाणवी । तथा राग-द्वेष कर्या होइ ते सर्व गरहुं छु । इति गाथा।।३०।। અર્થ : સાત પ્રકારના ભય, આઠ પ્રકારના મદ, ચાર સંજ્ઞા, ત્રણ ગારવ, તેત્રીશ આશાતના, २। भने द्वेष. या सर्वनी डी .
