स क्रुद्धो धक्ष्यति पुरीं द्वारकां यदुभिः सह । जरत्कुमारात् स्वभ्रातुस्तव चान्तो भविष्यति ।।६।। अरे कुलांगारकोऽयमित्यन्तः कलुषाशयैः । जराकुमारो ददृशे यदुभिः सकलैरपि ।।७।। भूत्वापि वसुदेवस्य सूनुः किं भ्रातृघात्यहम् । तत्सर्वथान्यथा कर्तुं यतेऽहमिति चिन्तयन् ।।८।। उत्थाय नेमिं नत्वा च जारेयस्तूणयुग्मभूत् । कोदंडी कृष्णरक्षार्थं वनवासमशिश्रयत् ।।९।। द्वैपायनोऽपि तच्छ्रुत्वा लोकश्रुत्वा प्रभोर्वचः । द्वारकाया यदूनां च रक्षार्थं वनवास्यभूत् ।।१०।। कृष्णोऽपि स्वामिनं नत्वा विवेश द्वारकां पुरीम् । मद्यमूलो ह्यनर्थः स्यादिति मद्यं न्यवारयत् ।।११।। कृष्णाज्ञया समीपाद्रौ कदम्बवनमध्यतः । कादंबर्यां कन्दरायां शिलाकुंडेषु भूरिशः ।।१२।। पुराकृतानि मद्यानि सर्वे द्वारवतीजनाः । गृहश्रोतोजलमिव नीत्वा नीत्वा प्रतत्यजुः ।।१३।। सिद्धार्थः सारथिर्धाता बलदेवमथावदत् । पुर्याः कुलस्य चेदृक्षां कथं द्रक्ष्यामि दुर्दशाम् ।।१४ ।। तस्मान्मां विसृज स्वामिपादान्तेऽहं यथा व्रतम् । अधुनैव हि गृह्णामि कालक्षेपं सहे न हि ।।१५।। उदश्रुस्तं बलोऽयूचे भ्रातर्युक्तं वदस्यदः । विस्रष्टुमक्षमेणापि विसृष्टोऽसि मयानघ ।।१६।। तपस्तप्त्वा विपन्नस्त्वं देवीभूतो विपद्गतम् । संबोधयेः समये मां भ्रातृस्नेहमिमं स्मरन् ।।१७।। आमेत्युदीर्य सिद्धार्थः प्राव्राजीत् स्वामिनोऽन्तिके । षण्मासीं च तपस्तीव्र तप्त्वा मृत्वा दिवं ययौ ।।१८ ।। इतश्च या शिलाकुंडेष्वासीत् क्षिप्ता सुरा जनैः । नानाद्रुपुष्पसंपातात्तदा स्वाद्वी बभूव सा ।।१९।। तदा च मासे वैशाखे कोऽपि शांबस्य पूरुषः । अटन् ययौ तत्र तृषा तां च दृष्ट्वा सुरां पपौ ।।२०।। ततः प्रमुदितस्तेन दृतिमापूर्य सीधुना । ययौ वेश्मनि शांबस्य तच्चोपायनमार्पयत् ।।२१।। तत्सीधु दृष्ट्वा सामोदं सप्रमोदो हरेः सुतः । पायं पायं जगादैवं कुत्र लब्धमिदं त्वया ।।२२।। सोऽप्याख्यत्सीधु तत्रस्थं शांबोऽप्यह्नि द्वितीयके । समं कुमारैर्दुर्दान्तैर्ययौ कांदबरीं गुहाम् ।।२३।। कादंबरीगुहायोगान्नाम्ना कादंबरी सुराम् । तां प्रेक्ष्य शांबो मुमुदे तृषितो निम्नगामिव ।।२४ ।। भृत्यैरानाय्य तां शांबः पुष्पितद्रुवनान्तरे । बद्धापानः पपौ मित्रभ्रातृभ्रातृव्यसंयुतः ।।२५।। चिरात्प्राप्तेति जीर्णेति सद्दव्यैः संस्कृतेति च । पिबन्तस्तां सुरां ते तु न तृप्तिमुपलेभिरे ।।२६ ।। द्वैपायनषि ध्यानस्थमग्रे तं गिरिमाश्रितम् । ददृशुर्मद्यपानान्धाः क्रीडन्तस्ते कुमारकाः ।।२७ ।। शांबो बभाषे स्वानित्थमयं मे नगरी कुलम् । हन्ता तद्धन्यतामेष हनिष्यति हतः कथम् ।।२८ ।। ततस्ते कुपिताः सर्वे लेष्टुभिः पादताडनैः चपेटाभिर्मुष्टिभिश्च तमाजघ्नुर्मुहुर्मुहः ।।२९।। पातितं तं महीपृष्ठे मृतप्रायं विधाय ते । ययुः पुरीं द्वारवतीं विविशुः स्वस्ववेश्मसु ।।३०।।
