एवं सोचा तक्खण-विस्सुमरियधम्मझाणपडिबंधो । साहू पसन्नचंदो, कुवियो चिंतेउमाऽऽढत्तो ।।७।। को मइ जीवंतम्मि वि, मज्झ सुयं रज्जमऽवि य विद्दवइ । मन्ने सीमालमही-वईण दुव्विलसियं एयं ।।८।। ता ते विद्धंसित्ता, करेमि सुत्थं ति पुव्वनाएण । उस्सग्गठियो वि रणेण, तेहिं सद्धि समाऽऽवडिओ ।।९।। धम्मज्झाणठियं पिब, अह तं दळूण सेणिओ राया । अहह ! महप्पा कह वट्टइ त्ति, विम्हयरसाऽऽउलिओ ।।१०।। भत्तिभरमुव्वहन्तो, सव्वाऽऽयरविहियतप्पयपणामो । चिंतइ एरिससुहझाण-संगओ जइ जियं चयइ ।।११।। एसो महाऽणुभावो, उप्पज्जइ ता कहिं ति जिणनाहं । पुच्छिस्सं ति विभाविय, जयगुरुपासं समल्लीणो ।।१२।। पुट्ठो य जएक्कपहू, पसन्नचंदो तहाविहे भावे । वर्सेतो मरिऊणं, उप्पज्जइ कत्थ मे कहसु ।।१३।। भणियं पहुणा सत्तम !, नरए उप्पज्जइ त्ति तो राया । नूणं मए न सम्मं, सुयं ति चिंताऽऽउरो जाओ ।।१४।। एत्यंतरम्मि मणसा, जुझंतेणं पसन्नचंदेणं । निट्ठियपहरणनिवहेण, सीसताणेण वि रिउस्स ।।१५।। घायं काउमणेणं, सीसे हत्थो निवेसिओ सहसा । लुंचियचिहुरचयम्मि य, तम्मि छिक्कम्मि उवउत्तो ।।१६।। समणो हं ति विसायं, कुणमाणो किं पि तं सुहं झाणं । पडिवन्नो स महप्पा, जेण लहुं केवली जाओ ।।१७।। केवलिमहिमा य कया, संनिहियसुरेहिं दुंदुही पहया । पुटुं च सेणिएणं, किं तूरखो इमो भयवं ! ।।१८।। भणियं जएक्कपहुणा, केवलिमहिमं पसन्नचंदस्स । देवा कुणंति एए, विम्हइओ सेणिओ ताहे ।।१९।।

I think that this kind of peaceful Jhana is like a treasure. ||11|| This great power, where did it arise? I will ask the Jina. Thinking this, I went to the Jina's presence. ||12|| Asked by the Jina, the king, with a happy mind, said, "Where will I be reborn after death? Tell me." ||13|| The Jina said, "O king, you will be reborn in hell." The king was very upset and thought, "This is not right." ||14|| In the meantime, the king, with a troubled mind, was defeated by the enemy, who had taken away his weapons and his crown. ||15|| The enemy, with a cruel heart, struck the king on the head with his sword. The king was wounded and fell to the ground. ||16|| "I am a monk," he thought, "what is the use of this peaceful Jhana? I have been defeated by this great power, which has made me a Kevali." ||17|| The glory of the Kevali, surrounded by the gods, was heard by the king. "What is this fearsome power?" he thought. ||18|| The Jina said, "The glory of the Kevali is the power of the king. The gods are doing this." The king was amazed. ||19||
