लज्जस्व, ततो विद्युन्माली देवो गायन्तीभ्यां ताभ्यां सह पटहं वादयन् त्रिदिवौकसां पुरतश्चचाल, तदानीं नागिलः स्वर्गी यात्रायां व्रजन् विद्युन्मालिनं निजपूर्वभवमित्रं अवधिना ददर्श, ततः स्वर्गिणा स भाषितः-भद्र ! त्वं मां जानासि ?, स जगौ-तेजस्विन्नाहं जाने, त्वं कोऽसि ?, ततस्तेन श्राद्धरूपं कृत्वा स्वस्य तस्य च पूर्वभवस्वरूपं तेन धर्मेण प्राप्तं देवस्वरूपं तञ्चोक्तम्, तच्छ्रुत्वा स एवमवदत्-भो मित्र ! किमहं करोमि ?, अच्युतसुरेणोक्तं-मित्र ! गार्हस्थ्येन चित्रगृहे कायोत्सर्गे स्थितस्य भावसाधो:रविभोर्मूर्ति त्वं कारय, तव बोधिबीजमुत्पत्स्यते, तदुक्तमुररीकृत्य गृहे प्रतिमास्थं श्रीवीरमपश्यत्, ततो देवो हिमवति शैले गत्वा गोशीर्षचंदनं छित्त्वा यथादृष्टं मूर्ति सविभूषणां चक्रे । २५. कामध्याने श्रीत्रिषष्टिशलाकापुरुषचरित्रे रावणः । शोकेन तेन वैदेहीविप्रलम्भरुजापि च । फालच्युत इव द्वीपी तल्पे तस्थौ निपत्य सः ।।१।। अथ मन्दोदरी देवी तमुपेत्याभ्यधादिति । कथं प्राकृतवत् स्वामिन्निश्चेष्ट इव तिष्ठसि ।।२।। रावणोऽप्यब्रवीदेवं वैदेहीविरहज्वरात् । न चेष्टितुं न वक्तुं च न चालोकयितुं क्षमः ।।३।। मया चेज्जीवता तेऽर्थस्तन्मानं प्रोज्झ्य मानिनि । गत्वानुनय वैदेहीं यथा मयि रिरंसते ।।४।। नान्यनारीमनिच्छन्ती भुञ्जे जातुचिदप्यहम् । अर्गलानियमो ह्यत्र ममास्ति गुरुसाक्षिकः ।।५।। पीडिता पीडया पत्युः कुलीना सापि तत्क्षणम् । जगाम देवरमणोद्याने सीतामुवाच च ।।६।। एषा मन्दोदरी नाम दशाननमहिष्यहम् । प्रपत्स्ये त्वयि दासीत्वं भजस्व दशकन्धरम् ।।७।। सीते त्वमेव धन्यासि यां सिसेविषतेऽनिशम् । विश्वसेव्याकिमलः पतिर्मम महाबलः ।।८।। अद्यापि तव रामेण भूचरेण तपस्विना । पत्तिमात्रेण किं पत्या प्राप्यते चेद्दशाननः ।।९।। रुषा बभाषे सीतैवं क्व सिंहः क्व च जम्बुकः । क्व सुपर्णः क्व वा काकः क्व रामः क्व च ते पतिः ।।१०।। दम्पतित्वमहो युक्तं तव तस्य च पाप्मनः । रिम्सुरेकोऽन्यस्त्रीषु दूतीभवति चापरा ।।११।। द्रुष्टुमप्युचिता नासि किमु सम्भाषितुं हले । स्थानादितो गच्छ गच्छ त्यज दृष्टिपथं मम ।।१२।। रावणोऽपि तदा तत्राजगाम निजगाद च । कुपितासि कुतः सीते दासी मन्दोदरी तव ।।१३।। दासस्ते स्वयमप्यस्मि प्रसादं कुरु देवि मे । जानकि त्वं जनममुं प्रीणासि न दृशापि किम् ।।१४।। सीता पराङ्मुखीभूयेत्यभाषत महासती । कृतान्तदृष्ट्या दृष्टोऽसि हरन्मां रामगेहिनीम् ।।१५।। धिगाशां ते हताशस्याप्रार्थितप्रार्थकस्य रे । जीविष्यसि कियद्रामे सानुजे द्विषदन्तके ।।१६।।
