INTRODUCTION
Description of the Mss.
A. Paper Ms :-folios 61, length of each folio about 10%, breadth
about 41" with margins of about " on the left and the right and about i" on the upper and the lower sides. Lines per page about 13, but the number of letters per line varies from 42 to 49 on account of the space in the middle, a practice, it may be noted in passing, in imitation of palmleaf Mss. The middle space is about 11" x 1". Writing is
clear. The Ms. contains marginal notes.
This Ms, bears a seal in the Nasta'liq variety of Arabic script. Its colour is black. It reads: Bhan-chand murid-e-Khush Fahn 1008. It means : Khush Fahn (a man of pleasant intellect) the disciple of Bhanchand. (Hijri San) 1008 -( = A. D. 1599)'

margins of about 1" on the left and the right sides, and i" on the upper and lower sides. Lines per page about 13; the number of letters per line varies from 47 to 50 on account of the space in the middle which is about 11" x 1". Writing is beautiful. The last two folios are in a bigger hand.

It may be remarked here that a similar seal is found in the middle space of the last page of a Ms. of Laghu Siddhānta-Kaumudi-another work of Siddhicandra. This Ms. also belongs to the Bhandāra of Pannyasa Saubhāgya Vimalji at Ahmedabad.
