Thus, the entire text comprising the portions on the beginning of the Śrāvakabhūmi, the piņdoddāna, the uddāna, definition of the Gotrabhūmi, description of the gotra, gotra-svabhāva, gotra-vyavasthāna and the hina-pratyaya of gotrasamudāgama upto the beginning of the description of Ātmasaspat are missing. Similarly, the text containing the descriptions of āsannaḥ pudgalaḥ, aparipakvaḥ pudgalaḥ, paripakvaḥ pudgalaḥ, aviśuddhaḥ pudgalaḥ, visuddaḥ pudgalaḥ and the concluding remarks is not to be found. These missing portions are found preserved in Tibetan
translations. (b) AVATĀRABHŪMI : The text begins :
यैः षड्भिर्भव्यो मृदुकुशलमूलसमन्वागतो मध्यकुशलमूलसमन्वागतः। अधिमात्रकुशलमूलसमन्वागतः । निष्ठाstealficant foomaga l; the text containing the portions on the beginning of the avatārabhūmi, the avatārasvabhāva, the avatāravyavasthāna and the 'pudgalānāṁ şațsthā

śruto bhavati' are missing in the body of the MS. (d) Besides this, F. 1AB-6(a) is half broken on the right
