योगशास्त्र पंचम प्रकाश श्लोक २४९ से २५९ बिन्दु देखने की विधि दो श्लोकों द्वारा कहते हैं।७११। अङ्गुष्ठाभ्यां श्रुती मध्यांगुलीभ्यां नासिकापुटे । अन्त्योपान्त्याङ्गुलीभिश्च पिधाय वदनाम्बुजम्।।२४९।।।
७१२। कोणावक्ष्णोनिपीड्याद्यागुलीभ्यां श्वासरोधतः । यथावर्णं निरीक्षेत बिन्दुमव्यग्रमानसः ॥२५०॥ ___अर्थ :- दोनों अंगूठों से कान के दोनों छिद्रों को, बीच की अंगुलियों से नासिका के दोनों छिद्रों को, अनामिका

हैं?।।२४९-२५०॥ बिन्दुज्ञान से पवन-निर्णय करते हैं७१३। पीतेन बिन्दुना भौम, सितेन वरुणं पुनः । कृष्णेन पवनं विद्याद्, अरुणेन हुताशनम् ॥२५१॥ अर्थ :- पीली बिन्दु दिखायी दे तो पुरंदरवायु, श्वेतबिन्दु दिखायी दे तो वरुणवायु, कृष्णबिन्दु दीखे तो पवनवायु
और लाल बिन्दु दिखायी दे तो अग्निवायु समझना चाहिए ॥२५॥ अनभीप्सित नाड़ी चलती रोककर दूसरी इष्ट नाड़ी चलाने के उपाय बताते हैं१७१४। निरुरुत्सेद् वहन्तीं या, वामां वा दक्षिणामथ । तदङ्गं पीडयेत् सद्यो, यथा नाडीतरा वहेत् ।।२५२।। अर्थ :- चलती हुई बांयी या दाहिनी नाड़ी को रोकने की अभिलाषा हो तो उस ओर के पार्श्व-(बगल) भाग को
दबाना चाहिए। ऐसा करने से दूसरी नाड़ी चालू हो जाती है और चालू नाड़ी बंद हो जाती है। ।७१५। अग्रे वामविभागे हि, शशिक्षेत्रं प्रचक्षते । पृष्ठौ दक्षिणभागे तु, रवि-क्षेत्रं मनीषिणः ॥२५३।। ।७१६। लाभालाभौ सुखं दुखं, जीवितं मरणं तथा । विदन्ति विरलाः सम्यग, वायुसञ्चारवेदिनः ॥२५४।। अर्थ :- विद्वज्जनों का कथन है कि शरीर के बांये भाग में आगे की ओर चंद्र का क्षेत्र है और दाहिने भाग में
पीछे की ओर सूर्य का क्षेत्र है। अच्छी तरह से वायु के संचार को जानने वाले पुरुष लाभ-अलाभ, सुख
दुःख, जीवन-मरण भलीभांति जान सकते हैं ।।२५३-२५४।। अब नाड़ी की शुद्धि पवन के संचार से जान सकने की विधि कहते हैं७१७। अखिलं वायुजन्मेदं, सामर्थ्य तस्य जायते । कर्तुं नाडी-विशुद्धिं य, सम्यग् जानात्यमूढधीः।।२५५।। अर्थ :- जो प्रखरबुद्धि पुरुष नाड़ी की विशुद्धि भलीभांति करना जानता है, उसे वायु से उत्पन्न होने वाला
सर्वसामर्थ्य प्राप्त हो जाता है ।।२५५।। अब नाड़ीशुद्धि की विधि चार श्लोकों से कहते हैं१७१८। नाभ्यब्जकर्णिकारूढं, कला-बिन्दु-पवित्रितम् । रेफाक्रान्तं स्फुरद्भासं, हकारं परिचिन्तयेत् ॥२५६।। ।७१९। तं ततश्च तडिद्वेगं स्फुलिङ्गगार्चिःशताञ्चितम् । रेचयेत् सूर्यमार्गेण, प्रापयेच्च नभस्तलम् ॥२५७।। ||७२०। अमृतैः प्लावयन्तं तमवतार्य शनैस्ततः । चन्द्राभं चन्द्रमार्गेण, नाभिपद्मे निवेशयेत् ॥२५८।। ||७२१। निष्क्रमं च प्रवेशं च, यथामार्गमनारतम् । कुर्वन्नेवं महाभ्यासो, नाडीशुद्धिमवाप्युनात् ॥२५९।। अर्थ :- नाभिकमल की कर्णिका से आरूढ़ हुए कला और बिन्दु से पवित्र रेफ से आक्रांत प्रकाश छोड़ते हुए
हकार (है) का चिंतन करना। उसके बाद विद्युत् की तरह वेगवान और सैकड़ों चिनगारियों और ज्वालाओं से युक्त हैं' का सूर्यनाड़ी के मार्ग से रेचन (बाहर निकाल) करके आकाशतल तक ऊपर पहुंचाना। इस तरह आकाश में पहुंचाकर अमृत से भिगोकर धीरे-धीरे उतारकर, चंद्रमा के समान उज्ज्वल और शांत बने हुए 'हँ' को चन्द्रनाड़ी के मार्ग से प्रवेश करवाकर नाभिकमल में प्रविष्ट कराना चाहिए। इस प्रकार उक्त मार्ग से प्रवेश और निगमन का सतत महाभ्यास करते-करते साधक नाडीशुद्धि को प्राप्त कर लेता है ।।२५६-२५९।।
