वायु से मृत्यु का काल ज्ञान
योगशास्त्र पंचम प्रकाश श्लोक ९३ से १०२ अर्थ :- यदि सूर्यनाड़ी में छह दिन तक पवन चलता रहे तो वह एक चौवीसी कम १०८० - २४ = १०५६ दिन तक जीवित रहता है ।। ९२ ।। तथा
।५५५। सहस्र साष्टकं जीवेद्, वायौ सप्ताहवाहिनि । सषट्त्रिंशन्नवशतीं, जीवेदष्टाहवाहिनि ॥९३॥
अर्थ :- सात दिन तक लगातार वायु सूर्यनाड़ी में चलता रहे तो वह १०५६ दिन में दो चौवीसी कम १०५६४८=१००८ दिन तक जीवित रहता है। तथा आठ दिन तक लगातार सूर्यनाड़ी चले तो ९३६ दिन जीवित रहता है ||१३||
।५५६। एकत्रैव नवाहानि, तथा वहति मारुते । अह्नामष्टशतं जीवेच्चत्वारिंशद्दिनाधिकम् ॥९४॥ अर्थ :- उसी तरह यदि नौ दिन सतत वायु चलता रहे तो ९३६ दिनों में चार चौवीसी अर्थात् ९३६ - ९६ = ८४० दिन जीवित रहता है ।। ९४ ।।
।५५७। तथैव वायौ प्रवहत्येकत्र दश वासरान् । विंशत्यभ्यधिकामह्नां, जीवेत् सप्तशतीं ध्रुवम् ॥९५।। अर्थ :- उसी तरह पौष्णकाल में निरंतर दस दिन तक सूर्यनाड़ी में वायु चले तो पूर्वोक्त ८४० दिनों में से पांच चौवीसी कम अर्थात् ८४० - १२० = ७२० दिन तक ही जीवित रहता है ।। ९५ ।।
१५५८। एक-द्वि-त्रि- चतुः - पञ्च- - चतुर्विंशत्यहः क्षयात् । एकादशादिपञ्चाहान्यत्र शोध्यानि तद् यथा ॥९६॥ अर्थ :- यदि ग्यारह दिन से लेकर पंद्रह दिन तक एक ही सूर्यनाड़ी में पवन चलता रहे तो सातसौ बीस दिन में से क्रमशः एक, दो, तीन, चार और पांच चौवीसी दिन कम करते जाना ।। ९६ ।। ग्रंथकार स्वयं स्पष्टीकरण करते हैं
। ५५९। एकादशदिनान्यर्कनाड्यां वहति मारुते । षण्णवत्यधिकान्यह्नां षट्शतान्येव जीवति ॥९७॥ अर्थ :- पौष्णकाल में सूर्यनाड़ी में ग्यारह दिनों तक वायु चलता रहे तो ७२० दिनों में से एक चौवीसी कम अर्थात् ७२०-२४=६९६ दिन तक मनुष्य जीवित रहता है ।। ९७ ।।
।५६०। तथैव द्वादशाहानि वायौ वहति जीवति । दिनानां षट्शतीमष्टचत्वारिंशत्समन्विताम् ॥९८॥ अर्थ :उसी तरह बारह दिन तक वायु सूर्यनाड़ी में चलता रहे तो वह दो चौवीसी कम अर्थात् ६९६ - ४८=६४८ दिन तक जीवित रहता है ।।१८।। तथा
।५६१। त्रयोदशदिनान्यर्कनाडीचारिणि मारुते । जीवेत्पञ्चशतीमह्नां, षट्सप्ततिदिनाधिकाम् ॥९९॥ अर्थ :उसी तरह तेरह दिन तक सूर्यनाड़ी में लगातार पवन चले तो ६४८ दिनों में से तीन चौवीसी कम अर्थात् ६४८-७२ = ५७६ दिन तक वह जीवित रहता है ।।९९ ।। तथा
।५६२ । चतुर्दशदिनान्येव, प्रवाहिणि समीरणे । अशीत्यभ्यधिकं जीवेद्, अह्नां शतचतुष्टयम् ॥१००॥ अर्थ :उसी प्रकार चौदह दिन तक सूर्यनाड़ी में पवन चलता रहे तो ५७६ दिनों में से चार चौवीसी कम अर्थात् ५७६-९६=४८० दिनों तक वह जीवित रहता है ।। १०० ।।
।५६३। तथा पञ्चदशाहानि यावद् वहति मारुते । जीवेत् षष्टिदिनोपेतं, दिवसानां शतत्रयम् ॥१०१॥ अर्थ :उसी तरह पंद्रह दिन तक सूर्यनाड़ी में पवन चलता रहे तो ४८० दिनों में से पांच चौवीसी कम अर्थात् ४८० - १२० = ३६० दिन जीवित रहता है ।। १०१ ||
