योगशास्त्र पंचम प्रकाश श्लोक ७४ से ८४ में ही मृत्यु हो जाती है, यदि एक मास तक चंद्रनाड़ी में पवन चलता रहे तो उसके धन का नाश होता है ।। ७३ ।। तथा -
वायु से मृत्यु का का ज्ञान
| | ५३६ । वायुस्त्रिमार्गगः शंसेत् मध्याह्नात् परतो मृतिम् । दशाहं तु द्विमार्गस्थः, संक्रान्तौ मरणं दिशेत् ॥७४॥ अर्थ :- इड़ा, पिंगला और सुषुम्णा इन तीनों नाड़ियों में यदि एकसाथ पवन चलता रहे तो दो प्रहर के पश्चात् मरण होता है। इड़ा और पिंगला दोनों नाड़ियों में साथ में वायु चले तो दस दिन में मृत्यु होती है और . केवल सुषुम्णा में ही लंबे समय तक वायु चले तो शीघ्र मरण होता है ।। ७४ ।।
।५३७। दशाहं तु वहन्निन्दावेवोद्वेगरुजे मरुत् । इतश्चेतश्च यामार्धं, वहन् लाभार्चनादिकृत् ॥७५॥ अर्थ :- यदि निरंतर दस दिन तक चंद्रनाड़ी में ही पवन चलता रहे तो उद्वेग और रोग उत्पन्न होता है और सूर्य तथा चंद्रनाड़ी में वायु बार-बार बदलता रहे अर्थात् आधे प्रहर सूर्यनाड़ी में और आधे प्रहर चंद्रनाड़ी में वायु चलता रहे तो लाभ, पूजा, प्रतिष्ठा आदि की प्राप्ति होती है ।।७५।। तथा
।५३८। विषुवत् समयप्राप्तौ स्पन्देते यस्य चक्षुषी । अहोरात्रेण जीनीयात् तस्य नाशमसंशयम् ॥७६॥ अर्थ :- जब दिन रात समान हो, बारह-बारह घंटे का दिन-रात समान हो, जरा भी कम ज्यादा न हो उसे विषवत काल कहते हैं, ऐसे दिन वर्ष में दो ही आते हैं। ऐसे विषुवत् काल में जिसकी आंखे फरकती है, उसकी एक दिन रात में अवश्य ही मृत्यु हो जाती है, फरकना भी वायु का विकार है, इसलिए प्रस्तुत प्रसंग का भंग नहीं होता ।। ७६ ।। तथा
| । ५३९ । पञ्चातिक्रम्य संक्रान्तीर्मुखे वायुर्वहन् दिशेत् । मित्रार्थहानी निस्तेजोऽनर्थान् सर्वान्मृतिं विना ।।७७|৷ अर्थ :- पवन का एक नाड़ी में से दूसरी नाड़ी में जाना, 'संक्रांति' कहलाता है। दिन में लगातार यदि ऐसी पांच संक्रांतियाँ बीत जाने के बाद छट्ठी संक्रांति के समय मुख से वायु चले तो वह मृत्यु को छोड़कर मित्रहानि, धन हानि, निस्तेज होना, उद्वेग, रोग, देशांतर -गमन आदि सभी अनर्थ सूचित करता है ।। ७७ ।। ।५४०। संक्रान्तीः समतिक्रम्य, त्रयोदश समीरणः । प्रवहन् वामनासायां, रोगोद्वेगादि सूचयेत् ॥७८॥ अर्थ :- यदि पहले कहे अनुसार तेरह संक्रान्तियों तक उल्लंघन हो जाने पर वायु वाम नासिका से बहे तो वह रोग, उद्वेग आदि की उत्पत्ति को सूचित करता ।५४१। मार्गशीर्षस्य संक्रान्ति - कालादारभ्य मारुतः । वहन् पञ्चाहमाचष्टे वत्सरेऽष्टादशे मृतिम् ॥७९॥ अर्थ :मार्गशीर्ष मास के प्रथम दिन से लेकर लगातार पांच दिन तक एक ही नाड़ी में पवन चलता रहे तो उस दिन से अठारहवें वर्ष में मृत्यु होगी ।। ७९ ।। तथा
