श्रुत-चारित्रधर्म की नमस्कारपूर्वक स्तुति
योगशास्त्र तृतीय प्रकाश श्लोक १२३ केवलज्ञान हुआ था, ऐसा सुना जाता है। केवलज्ञान के शब्द-श्रवण करने से और श्रुतधर्म के अर्थ को जानने से उनको | सर्वज्ञत्व प्राप्त होता है। अब श्रुतधर्म की स्तुति कहते हैं कि
तमतिमिरपडल-विद्धंसणस्स सुरगणनरिंदमहिअस्स । सीमाधरस्स यंदे, पप्फोडिअ-मोहजालस्स ॥२॥ अर्थ :- अज्ञान रूपी अंधकार के पटल को नष्ट करने वाले, देवसमूह, राजा, चक्रवर्ती आदि से पूजित, मर्यादा
को धारण करने वाले और मोहजाल के सर्वथा नाशक श्रुतज्ञान को वंदन करता हूं। तम-अज्ञान और तिमिर-अंधकार अर्थात् अज्ञान रूपी अंधकार अथवा स्पृष्ट, बद्ध और निधत्त ज्ञानावरणीयकर्म अज्ञान-तम है; और निकाचित ज्ञानावरणीयकर्म तिमिर-अंधकार है, उनका पडल-समूह; उसका विद्धंसणस्स-नाश करने वाला अर्थात् अज्ञान और बद्धकर्म का नाशक और सुरगणनरिंद-महिअस्स अर्थात् भवनपति आदि चार निकायों के देवों तथा चक्रवर्ती, राजा आदि द्वारा से पूजित। सुरासुर आदि आगम की महिमा करते हैं। सीमाधरस्स का अर्थ है-मर्यादा को धारण करने वाले श्रुतज्ञान को। मर्यादा का मतलब है-कार्य-अकार्य, भक्ष्य-अभक्ष्य, हेय-उपादेय, धर्मअधर्म आदि सब की व्यवस्था (मर्यादा) श्रुतज्ञान में ही रहती है। क्वचित् द्वितीयादेः ।।८।३।१३४।। इस सूत्र से कर्म के अर्थ में द्वितीया के स्थान पर प्राकत में षष्ठी विभक्ति होती है। पप्फोडियमोहजालस्स अर्थात मिथ्यात्व आदि रूप मोहजाल को जिसने तोड़ दिया है, वंदे उस श्रुतज्ञान को मैं वंदन करता हूं, अथवा उसके माहात्म्य को नमस्कार करता हूं। सम्यकश्रुतज्ञान की प्राप्ति होने के बाद विवेकी आत्मा में राग-द्वेष-कषायादि की मढ़ता नहीं रहती. उसका विनाश हो जाता है। इस प्रकार श्रुतज्ञान की स्तुति करके उसी ही के गुण बताकर अप्रमाद-विषयक प्रेरणा करते हुए कहते हैं
जाइ-जरा-मरण-सोग-पणासणस्स, कल्लाण-पुक्खल-विसाल-सुहावहस्स ।
को देव-दाणव-नरिंद-गणच्चिअस्स, धम्मस्स सारमुवलभ करे पमायं? ॥३॥ अर्थ :- जन्म, जरा, मृत्यु तथा शोक का सर्वथा नाश करने वाले, कल्याण और प्रभूत विशाल सुख को देने वाले,
अनेक देव-दानव-नरेन्द्रगण आदि द्वारा पूजित धर्म (श्रुतचारित्र रूप) के सार-प्रभाव को जानकर कौन
बुद्धिमान मनुष्य धर्म की आराधना में प्रमाद करेगा? को-कौन बुद्धिमान, धम्मस्स-श्रुतधर्म के सारं सामर्थ्य को उवलब्भ प्राप्त कर-जानकर, धर्माचरण में, करे पमायं-प्रमाद करेगा? अर्थात् कोई भी समझदार मनुष्य उसमें प्रमाद नहीं करेगा। इस धर्म का सामर्थ्य कैसा है? उसे कहते हैं-जाइ-जरा-मरण-सोग-पणासणस्स अर्थात् जन्म, बुढ़ापा, मृत्यु और मन के शोक आदि दुःखों को मूल से | सर्वथा नष्ट करने वाले। श्रुत (शास्त्र) में कहे अनुसार धर्म का अनुष्ठान करने से जन्म, जरा का निश्चय ही नाश होता है। श्रुतज्ञान के आधार पर धर्माचरण में सभी अनर्थों के नाश करने का सामर्थ्य है; तथा कल्लाण-पुक्खल-विसालसुहावहस्स - कल्लाण कल्प यानी आरोग्य और अणति-लाता है, वह कल्याण=मोक्ष है। पुक्खल पुष्कल=बहुत, जरा भी कम नहीं; परंतु विशाल विस्तृत सुहावहस्स-सुख की प्राप्ति कराने वाला अर्थात् श्रुत के अनुसार धर्म का | अनुष्ठान करने वाले को अपवर्ग=मोक्ष सुख प्राप्त होता है, तथा देव-दाणव-नरिंदगणच्चिअस्स-वह धर्म (श्रुत
चारित्र रूप) देव, दानव और चक्रवर्ती आदि के समूह से पूजित है। अतः बुद्धिशाली उसकी आराधना में प्रमाद न करे। ऊपर कहे अनुसार धर्म के रहस्य को प्रकट करने वाले श्रुतज्ञान में अचिंत्य सामर्थ्य है, उसे कहते हैं
सिद्धे भो! पयओ णमो जिणमए, नंदीसया संजमे । देवं-नाग-सुवण्ण-किन्नर-गणस्सभूअभावच्चिए ॥ लोगो जत्थ पइट्ठिओ जगमिणं तेलुक्कमच्चासुरं । धम्मो वड्डउ सासओ विजयओ, धम्मुत्तरं वड्डउ ॥४॥ अर्थ :- सुज्ञजनो! सिद्ध एवं सदा संयमधर्म के अभिवर्द्धक जिनमत (धर्म) को प्रयत्न (आदर) पूर्वक नमस्कार
करता हूं, जो सुर, नागकुमार, सुपर्णकुमार, किन्नरगण आदि असुरों द्वारा सच्चे भावों से पूजित है। जिस धर्म के आधार पर यह लोक टिका हुआ (प्रतिष्ठित) है। तथा जिसमें धर्मास्तिकाय आदि सारे द्रव्य एवं तीनों लोक के मनुष्य व सुर-असुर आदि अपने-अपने स्थान पर रहे हुए है। ऐसे संयम-पोषक तथा श्रुतज्ञान-समृद्ध एवं दर्शनयुक्त प्रवृत्ति से शाश्वतधर्म की वृद्धि हो और विजय की परंपरा से चारित्रधर्म की नित्य वृद्धि हो।

Who, knowing the essence of Dharma (Shruta Charitra form), which destroys birth, old age, death, and sorrow, bestows abundant and vast happiness, and is worshipped by the assembly of gods, demons, and kings, will be negligent in the worship of Dharma?

Ko - who, a wise person, Dhammas - of Shruta Dharma, Saram - the essence, Uvalabbha - having obtained, knowing, Dharmacharan - in the practice of Dharma, Kare Pamayam - will be negligent? That is, no wise person will be negligent in it. What is the power of this Dharma? It is said: Jai - birth, Jara - old age, Maran - death, Sog - sorrow, Panasanass - completely destroying, meaning it completely destroys birth, old age, death, and mental sorrow. According to the Shruta (scriptures), the practice of Dharma certainly destroys birth and old age. Based on Shruta Jnana, there is the power to destroy all evils in the practice of Dharma. And, Kallan - Kalpa, meaning health and Anati-Lata, that Kallan = Moksha. Pukhhal - Pushkal = abundant, not even a little old age; but, Vishal - vast, Suhavahas - bestowing happiness, meaning the one who practices Dharma according to the Shruta attains the happiness of Apavarga = Moksha. And, Dev-Danav-Narindaganacchiass - that Dharma (Shruta Charitra form) is worshipped by the assembly of gods, demons, and Chakravartis. Therefore, the wise should not be negligent in its worship.

**Verse 4:**

O wise ones! I respectfully bow to the Jina Mat (Dharma), which is always the promoter of the Dharma of restraint, which is worshipped with true feelings by the assembly of gods, Nagas, Suvarna, Kinnaras, and Asuras. This world is established on the basis of that Dharma. And, in which Dharma-Astikaya, etc., all substances and the three realms of humans, gods, and Asuras remain in their respective places. May the eternal Dharma grow with such a restrained, Shruta Jnana-rich, and insightful nature, and may the Charitra Dharma grow continuously with the tradition of victory.
