कम्पते-कम्पइ ( does not follow a vowel)। कपिः-कई and रिपुः
-रिऊ ( because these forms, as the text says, are sweeter to the ear than those derived by changing u to व् ). फा पाटिपरिघ–॥ १।३ । ५६ ॥ p. 79In the causal form of q8 and in afat and other words q is changed to 5पाटयति-फालेइ-फाडेइ ( It is बडिशादि, 'टोर्ब डिशादौ ल': p. 74 and 'टो ड: p. 75 )। परिघः–फलिहो ( 'हरिद्रादौ' p. 31 ) । परिखा–फलिहा ( being a हरिद्रादि)। परुषः–फरुसो । पनस:-फणसो । पारिभद्रःफालिहद्दो ('हरिद्रादौ' p. 31 ). प्रभूते वः ॥ १।३ । ५९ ॥ p. 79In प्रभूत, प् though conjunct and initial, is changed to व्प्रभूतम्-बहुत्तं (त् is doubled by 'तैलादौ' p. 48 ). नीपापीडे मो वा ॥ १।३ । ५७ ॥ p. 79In these, प् is optionally changed to म्नीपः–णीमो-नीमो-नीवो ('आदेस्तु' p. 78 )। आपीड:-आमेलोआवेलो-आमेडो-आबेडो ('टोर्बडिशादौ ल:' p. 74, s being changed to ए by 'एल्पीडनीड-' p. 62 )। बो वः ॥ १।३ । ६१ ॥ p. 80q, if not conjunct, not initial, and following & vowel, is changed to - शबल:-सवलो । अलाबूः–अलावू-( Hema.. gives अलाऊ also)।
ब्यौ कबन्धे ॥१।३।६२ ॥ p. 80In faqat a is changed to q and q and the vowel in them is pronounced as nazalizedकबन्धः-कवन्धो-कयन्धो।
Hemachandra and Séshakrishna give कमन्धो in place of कवन्धो. 'कबन्धे कमंधः कयंधः' प्राक० चन्द्रि०. तु डो विषमे ॥ १।३।६७ ॥ p. 80In विषम, म् is optionally changed to :विषमः-विसडो-विसमो।
Hemachandra changes w to द-विसढो, so प्राकृ० चन्द्रि० also'विषमे विसढोथवा विसमो'.
